"So, we had Criss Sales and Service service our Husqvarna riding mower before spring started this year. We knew it had some issues. Broke two belts last year and something was wrong with the pto switch. The mower is probably 7 years old now, so we expect it needs some things fixed from time to time. We have tried to take pretty good care of it, it was not a cheap mower and has been pretty reliable up to last year. So anyway, Criss Sales and Service had the mower a few weeks, didn’t ask us any questions about it. Just messaged me when they were done with it. We paid them, picked it up, no questions asked from us or them. It seemed to be in good shape again. It’s been through 2 full mowings and a 1/4 of a mow yesterday, and the belt broke. The belt that was just replaced. I’m unavailable at the moment, so my wife called them today to ask if they can replace the belt. The first thing that is stated is that our mower is too old and was a pain to work on. They actually said they weren’t familiar with that particular model and should have turned the work down. This is the first thing that’s said? No apology for the belt and offer to replace? They did offer to replace the belt, but not until my wife asked why they didn’t have an issue taking our money if it was in that bad of shape. At this point, we will take it somewhere else. If they didn’t feel comfortable working on it in the first place, why would we let them work on it again? That’s all I’ve got, sorry for the rant."

"Serviced our lawn mower recently. It was due for an overhaul and we wanted a professional shop to do the work. We dropped the mower off and it was ready promptly. After 2 uses, a belt that was just replaced broke. When I called to see if they could get it back in as we are in peak mowing season, I was told we should have never brought it there because they do not usually work on our style lawn mower. They did NOT tell us this when we dropped it off. They HAPPILY took $600 of our money (cash per their preference because I am sure they are not turning it in) to service our mower. They proceeded to tell me that my lawn mower was "too old" and "no one sells these anymore". They were nice enough to give me a list of other servicers. I could have looked this up myself. They did agree to give me the money back for the belt. Thanks...because that is helpful. Called another shop....BEHOLD they actually recently sold a mower just like ours. I thought it was "too old". This new shop has no problem servicing our mower but now I have to wait up to 3-4 weeks during peak season for the repair that was NOT done properly the first time. I will NEVER use this shop again and will go out of my way to warn others of the sheer lack of customer service, unprofessionalism, and incompetence."
