"I’m not here to discourage anyone. However, I just got off the phone with one of the representative after my second interview it was all about money and if you don’t have the money right then and there the conversation was pretty much over. So this is how it works. 30 weeks cross training for two hour session . $71 per week for those 30 weeks. which would add up to a little over $2,000 total . Let’s not forget the registration fee is $295.00. This is the kicker. Initially they would tell you once you get a job. You will get pay 80%. The agency will get paid 20% . of course in your mind you’re not thinking about coming out of pocket with any other additional fees besides photo shoots. I don’t know about you guys, it just didn’t sit well with me. Keep in mind guys if someone’s given a positive reviews is more than likely somebody who they know personally .It has always been told if an agency is asking for money, upfront, Run! More than likely its part of a Scam. If an agency or Director wants you. You shouldn’t have to come out of your pocket for that amount of money. Big red flag!!!!"
"It is impossible to get a real adjustment in payments if you change classes. No matter how many times you call, they charge you over and over again, and they never give you an accurate statement."
"I wont say this is a scam, it might be a company that really opens doors for potential people… you can read our experience here: After my daughter was one of the 18 people (of 20 people total) who made it to the second round.. I felt I needed to do some research on agency’s and what the most important signs of a scam are. One of the most important signs of a scam seems to be: when you don’t get any time to think about it, and when you immediately have to decide about a payment. Well because my daughter (15) took it very serious that she was in to the second round, she prepared herself to make it until the last 6!! During the second audition, there was no audition at all, it was only a sales pitch, and my daughter got a lot of compliments and they told her she got a lot of potential and that she is exactly the girl they are looking for… Of course my daughter was over the moon so happy and so enthousiastic!! Then they told us that the program will be 30 weeks of classes 1 time a week for two hours.. for the price of more or less 2000 dollars, including free photoshoots (but I know you have to pay for the pictures yourself) . The classes seemed really helpful and a good way to start off a career in this field. So, I do not want to argue if this is a lot of money or not… the only thing that did not seem right to me is that we had a maximum of 15 minutes to decide if we wanted to do this or not. So that is the reason we decided to NOT continue with this company."
"I was accepted into John Casablancas school/agency! Lisa, and Dia are wonderful and very nice. The truth is even if you was accepted into a performing arts school, you would still have to pay for it. In my honest opinion the price that they charge is very reasonable, and budget friendly. I personally do not mind paying for a skill that could further improve my development in this business. Thank you so much ladies ❤️❤️ Markita"
"I’m currently enrolled in the classes and loving it!! This modeling school is so much fun and you meet a ton of amazing people. The staff here are fun and upbeat and will never put you down. When you don’t get something right they show you the right way and tell you that you CAN do it. Yes I am paying 72 dollars a class but that is because I am paying for a service, they are teaching me the basics and helping boost me up in the industry. Highly recommend John Casablancas for modeling school!!"
