Mark's Heating & Cooling

"We called in March because our heater was making noise. Mark came out & said it might be a fan blade was offset, checked that & then said there was a crack in something, but it had a lifetime warranty, so he'd order the part & replace it for us. We thought this was great. It is now October & we are STILL waiting for Mark to replace the part for us. Numerous calls have gotten replies of, the part's not arrived, no answer or returned message, in August it was oh yeah, the part came in but he's swamped with calls (okay, but it's been forever, Mark!) & now it's October & yet several more non-responding between August & October! A holiday call was finally answered by his wife, who said she'd give him the message & he'd call back. My husband has been extremely patient, but I have had enough. SEVEN MONTHS has been more than long enough for a part to arrive & be replaced. This fellow had several 5 star reviews, but if he'd got the part & repaired our equipment when it arrived, that would have been one thing. I realize one can be busy, but at least be polite enough to customers to return calls or something. I know my husband actually talked to Mark at least twice in 7 months, as we finally heard the part was in, but come on, this is ridiculous. Would you like someone doing this to your older relatives? Doubtful. If Mark ever shows up & replaces the part, I'll write an addendum to this review & possibly re-rate him, but for now, I can't give zero stars for what I think of his "service" & stringing us along for months. Update (6 days later): Still no response from Mark & now the furnace is definitely not working. My husband said it "sounds like it's recycling, like it's trying to start up, but nothing is happening." The current outside temperature is 43°F & the house temp is at 64°F. Hey, Mark, was this what you were waiting for? A complete breakdown? Thanks a lot, bud."
