"Dr Woo was simply amazing!! When I was diagnosed with a positive BRCA 2 mutation, my obgyn was severely uneducated as to what I should do and made me feel like I was over reacting. Thankfully I took charge of my own healthcare and scheduled with Dr Woo. Going and seeing Dr Woo really made me feel like for the first time that I wasn't overreacting. That my worries and fears and reaction is perfectly normal and that I am justified in feeling what I feel. She explained Everything so perfectly. Was extremely knowledgeable and also refreshingly funny to boot. I walked out of my appointment feeling like I finally was heard and also finally know what to expect moving forward. "I had a mammogram and ultra sound at an imaging center in February and was referred to Dr Woo for the second time (first visit in June 2021). I was told Dr. Woo would need an hour to examine me and she would explain all of the results from my mammogram. She did an ultra sound and took 5 minutes to tell me she was concerned about a mass in my breast and a lump in my lymph nodes and that I needed a biopsy. She started she would put in the order and she was out the door. I later received a bill for $762. Instead of the bossy being the next step....i received a call stating i needed to have another mammogram (no explanation was given). I arrived today to get the mammogram and I'm told i would also need another ultra sound as well. When i asked why i needed the same images/ procedures again......i was told this is a different group/office and they didn't have anything to do with what happened before. I was also informed that it was a 3 hour visit... and no one told me that in advance. I said, "but I'm the patient... it's all on my insurance, it's my time and money and no one is giving me an explanation of what's happening or why". I left the office without having the ultra sound (b/c no one told me i needed to be there for 3 hours and i needed to pick my child up from school). The communication is terrible and the coirdination of services is even worse. I will be finding another doctor!!!!!"

"I went to Dr. Woo after being told I had Stage 0 cancer. Thinking that I would only need a lumpectomy at best, I sadly discovered a mastectomy was needed instead. Dr. Woo held my hand. She rubbed my back. She was kind, tender and strong for me. She walked me through every step and didn't rush away to her next appointment. In the end I chose a double mastectomy and the surgery was successful. Her staff is unmatched and I cannot forget about Donna....a precious gem in a world full of cubic zirconia. This diagnosis crushed my spirit but I am thankful for Dr. Woo and her staff!!!"
