"The staff was really nice and very personable. Stacy the Practice Manager, Marlana the Nurse and even the F-NP were nice. The waiting room and exam rooms were updated and clean and we felt comfortable. What we aren’t happy about though, is we spent more time in the waiting room and exam room than with the doctor going over results. The results were good so we were a little frustrated that instead of a phone call that would have taken less time, we were asked to come in the office and pay the specialist copay for a 7 minute conversation. That’s ridiculous. I suggest instead of wasting peoples time and money, if the results don’t require anything additional, just call the patient or send them a mychart message."

"My wife has suffered with back pain for a long time. Recently she had a scan of her spine and it picked up a spot on her right lung. She was directed to Doctor James Headrick Jr. From our first visit until the cancer was removed we were more than pleased. He had to remove the lower right lobe and got all the cancer. His staff has been wonderful to work with. If you need a great doctor, he and the Chattanooga Memorial Hospital staff is the place to go."

"Had a scan of my Kidneys that showed a node on the center of my right lung. Several scans including a pet scan and pet blood test were done. Within a week test of the center lobe of the right lung was completed with a pathologist present through the bronchial tubes.The lymph notes that were accessible were also checked. Within a week I was in surgery having the center node of the right lung removed. A pathologist was also present and a lymph node was also removed. I was informed of the pathology report as soon as it was received. I was released to go home the following morning. I received follow up calls from both the surgery center at the hospital and the surgeons office. Between the surgery center and the Surgeons office I was confused about follow up appointments. The surgery center has the call with the pathology report as a appointment and not a call. This was quickly cleaned up by the surgeons office. I also had questions from the discharge papers that was quickly cleared up. I have a close friend that is a retired nurse (not this venue). She was looking out for my best interests and wanted things as specific as possible. Those questions were also quickly and politely cleared up. I was also walked through a process where I could establish a on line account that contained all of my tests, reports, and surgery information and reports. This was a friendly, very professional, and pleasant experience. Things happened just as scheduled. The list items to expect during the healing process happened as scheduled. By the third day after surgery I was off the pain medications."
