"“While I approached my dining experience at White Bird with genuine kindness and an open attitude, unfortunately, my efforts were not appreciated. It was disheartening to find out that a rumor was spread about me during my visit, possibly stemming from envy. Dining alone already presents its challenges, but feeling unwelcome due to baseless rumors made the experience particularly unpleasant. Despite this, I want to acknowledge the exceptional service provided by server Kyle and General Manager Emma at White Bird. Kyle was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were met throughout the meal. Emma also displayed professionalism and leadership in her role, which was evident in the overall ambiance and operation of the restaurant. While my personal experience may not have been ideal, the dedication and hospitality shown by Kyle and Emma at White Bird deserve recognition. However, I hope that White Bird addresses issues related to rumor-spreading and ensures that all guests feel welcomed and respected in the future.”"
"Very impressed. Jocelyn was a great bartender. Don't be fooled by her youth. She was able to explain what a new-to-me aperitif was. She was a delight. The kitchen staff was great. Great chatting with one of the chefs. I forget his name. Wonderful atmosphere & restaurant design in a perfect location. Crab dip was great. Good cocktails. Recommend."
"What a wonderful place. We needed a quick respite before the Boat Christmas parade and fireworks. Bay was accommodating and Kenny was an excellent server with great recommendations for a quick bite and drink. We will be back when time allows for the full entree experience!"
"oh Whitebird…what happened? used to be fairly cutting edge with at least some local game and local flair. I tried the pork belly, which felt like it had been leftover from at least the day before. It was dry and shriveled, the aïoli tasted like it was made from jarred mayonnaise and the hush puppies were so dry as to be not worth the trouble - but the greens were very tasty. I would NOT recommend this dish The trout was a lovely presentation, and the white beans were great! The trout itself, however, was bit on the meager side however the flavor was perfectly acceptable. Outdoor dining was perfect on this evening at 80°F with local talent playing music in the Square… free entertainment always appreciated. The service was OK but slow. The front of house/host was charming and helpful in recommending a martini. all that said, with so many great restaurants in downtown Chattanooga I don’t think this reviewer would go back."
