"Wow! Where to start? Mital is a teacher who CARES, who wants your child to love and enjoy dance. Her patience and technique of teaching is awe inspiring. Her love of dance is contagious. As with everything, practice makes perfect. The more you practice, the better you get. Some are natural dancers and others have to work harder at it. Mital believes that anyone can achieve greatness if they are willing to put in the work. She helps you every step of the way with a smile on your face. Kathak being a classical dance form ; depending on the place you pick -may seem difficult and intimidating all at once; but not here :) The ambience is welcoming and comfortable . As soon as I walk into the class I feel joyful and refreshed. Mital di is very knowledgeable, passionate and diligent teacher; who patiently works with you until you get it! She gives personal attention to each of her student as well. "Both my daughters learn Kathak from Mital Patel at Kalaxya. I cannot be more happier as a mom knowing that my kids love and respect their teacher and look forward to learning every week. Kathak is a tough dance but Mital makes it fun and interesting for kids all ages. She is more like a mentor to my kids.
