"I wish I could give this provider a more positive review, or even a neutral one, but even after I (somewhat reluctantly) went back to her and provided (fair as possible) feedback following a negative experience with her in our previous session, she failed to change her approach, and I had a further negative experience with her during that appointment. Overall, the time with her was more of a setback—financially, psychologically and emotionally. Perhaps she’ll approach future patients with more objectivity and with more compassion than she did with me. Maybe she couldn’t keep her personal feelings separate in this case? She also felt the need to point out that she has a degree to back up her professional opinion of me, but I realize that even professionals are imperfect human beings, and she was quick to judge, based on insufficient evidence. A professional would be wise to ask more questions and give more time and reflect on her own personal biases before jumping to conclusions and judging others, especially those who are there seeking guidance, not judgement."
