"My first attempt at an appointment here was horrible. First off, their address is listed as 433 Cherry St, but when you click that address the pin in Google maps is dropped on the other side of downtown and labels this random abandoned building as their building. I can’t be the first person to have this issue, so why would they not know to warn people about this or, god forbid, request Google to update the dropped pin location? (I did request Google to change it myself, so I hope it has now been updated). I was walking around this sketchy abandoned building for a few minutes before I called them and after a few minutes of describing where I was, I was told I was at the wrong location and I needed to come to a different location. The lady on the phone informed me that since they knew I was coming, it was fine if I showed up late. So I walked back to my car and drove over to the other location. As soon as I got out of the car and started paying for parking right in front of the building, the lady called me back and informed me that actually since it was now 15 minutes past the hour, my therapist had canceled the appointment. So much for her telling me to come and that the mess up on Google wouldn’t affect my appointment, right? I called back and requested to be changed to a different therapist. After sitting on hold for about 10 minutes, I was transferred to the manager lady who asked me what my experience was, so I started to tell her what happened. The manager lady proceeded to keep cutting me off and talking over me to try to justify their behavior as I was still trying to explain what she had asked me to explain. I told her I didn’t appreciate her cutting me off and talking over me when I was just explaining what she had asked me to explain, but she still didn’t let me finish and continued attempting to justify all the poor behavior from the staff. How does someone work in a therapist office, but doesn’t know how to correctly communicate with people? I sure hope she is just the manager and not an actual therapist herself. If she is, I feel deeply sorry for her patients. Needless to say, this place caused me to have a panic attack and I cried the entire 30+ minute drive home. I’m so glad this place that stands for taking care of people’s mental health are so great at taking care of people’s mental health (that is sarcasm, this place sucks)"
