"I notified the nurse three times that my mother needed to be changed from 2:50-4:16pm. After 45 minutes of waiting, my sister and I decided to change her ourselves. It smelled awful in the entire facility. Granted, I did notice a janitor mopping, however the smell of urine was way louder than the clorox. The nurses were very inattentive. Definitely not a place you would send a loved one for care!"

"I moved my mom to Roberta Rehab from another facility. Roberta staff really care for their residents. It always smells clean. They keep me informed about her care. She loves being there. "I thoroughly enjoy working at Roberta Health and Rehab. We have a fabulous interdisciplinary team that addresses our resident's needs. Our administrator Jessica has an open door policy and will not hesitate to implement any innovative idea that improves our quality of care to our residents and an all inclusive positive environment for both residents and staff. Elisa, our DON is kind and always willing to address concerns of both staff and residents. Both Jessica and Elisa keep open doors for all residents to address any needs or concerns. I work at night and my residents know both Jessica and Elisa's name. Residents enjoy telling me about their day and Jessica and Elisa are both a part of their day frequently. Jessica expects staff to treat the residents as their loved ones. For us staff that is any easy task. My residents have come to expect different little treats when I work. I find joy in seeing my residents smile. So many times we receive really sick people who are not engaging with their environment. I'm a natural chatter box and will talk to residents that are struggling with communication or depressed due to their health conditions. I find so much joy when I see them smile or speak to me. The staff here works hard at promoting a sense of well-being and hope for our residents. I make it a point to discuss current events with residents. I also rotate genres of music before bed time to promote mild movements or raising our hands in the air to dance. Sometimes we take turns watching funny short videos. I typically have an entourage of residents following me and my cart just so they can hang out with me. I never truly come to work because everyday is a joy and an adventure. I must thank both Elisa and Jessica for allowing staff to balance professionalism and an enjoyable home like environment for our residents. I would absolutely recommend this facility to someone under this current leadership along with their carefully selected nurses, CNAs and med Tech's. Their leadership has paid off because as of 2022 the state of Ga has conducted it's compliance survey and we are DEFICIENCY FREE. The facility will only continue to improve. It's definitely worth looking into for employment or the placement of a loved one ❤"
