"I saw Dr Niederjohn for a total 4 -5 sessions. Most of which were digital. The software he used for these sessions was not great. We spent more time trying to reconnect and ultimately ended up just FaceTiming. Even though I was still charged for a full session I received maybe 2/3rds of one. As you can imagine these interruptions impacted my therapy as I would often be cut off while trying to relate issues that were upsetting. I also felt like there was a disconnect in where my therapy was headed. Being as he is only in the office one day a week I felt being digital took away the personal touch that sitting in front of a therapist and talking to them personally presents. I felt like my therapy only ever went surface deep even after explaining several time I wanted to dig deep and actually solve my issues as opposed to merely talk about the stresses of the day. Even with an in person session this never happened. In all I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Niederjohn. He seemed more concerned with being a college professor then actually helping people."
