"Trying to break up with Pepperboxing! They say it’s cancelling but then it bills again … it’s giving scam likely! When I started going to Pepperboxing over a year ago it was awesome! I went 5-6 days a week! But the last few months things fell off. They switched the class style. All my fav coaches are gone. And I heard management fires people when they try to give notice (unprofessional af)! In reply to the owners reply: The notes you've posted show that I didn't pay in Oct because I was trying to cancel, made payment for Oct and Nov, discussed freezing the account before a final payment for Dec ... Doesn't this further confirm I have been trying to cancel for months? We went through Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan, and now Feb. I'm still being charged. Scam likely?! I can see you're not a very smart business owner. Are you unfamiliar with privacy laws? "The publicizing of one’s private affairs with which the public has no legitimate concern" is relevant here because why are you posting client account notes on Google? Also, the embarrassing comment has a "wrongful intrusion into one’s private activities in such manner as to outrage or cause mental suffering, SHAME OR HUMILIATION to a person of ordinary sensibilities" feel to it. Furthermore, what type of business has these type of responses to customers reviews? Note, nothing was said about why it has been so difficult to cancel, the changes to the class structure, or the poor retention and treatment of coaches/staff, or the fact that after 5 months of trying to cancel I'm still being charged. The girl who I spoke to on the phone yesterday admitted it has been a circus. She said this location isn't her usual location, but with everything she has had to step in and has taken the brunt of the work/backlash with multiple calling saying the same things I said. I felt bad for her, apologized, and wished her well."

"Disappointed with Recent Changes to Class Atmosphere I've been a loyal patron of Pepperboxing for quite some time, but recent changes have left me thoroughly dissatisfied. The decision to strip trainers of their autonomy in curating music playlists has significantly impacted the unique atmosphere each trainer used to bring to their classes. The introduction of a generic and frankly terrible playlist has disrupted the flow of each class, making the experience feel more like a cookie-cutter gym rather than the personalized, engaging sessions I've come to expect from Pepperboxing. The ability of trainers to set the tone and energy of their classes through music was one of the gym's distinctive features – a feature that set it apart from other, more rigid alternatives like some of the franchised gyms. This change not only hampers the overall workout experience but also takes away from the individuality that made Pepperboxing stand out. As a customer, I appreciate variety and the freedom for trainers to craft their unique classes. And this may be suited for possibly the Buckhead location, I don’t know. But, unfortunately, this recent shift has left me with no choice but to explore other options for my fitness needs. Regrettably, unless there are positive changes or a return to the gym's previous format, I won't be returning to Pepperboxing. I hope the management reconsiders these changes and takes into account the impact on the loyal community that has been built over the years. Disheartened Patron"

It’s the most unique boxing gym I have ever been to and I applaud the owner, Pepper, for bringing this gym and its other facility to the Atlanta area. Whether you’ve never hit a bag before or have been boxing for years, Pepper boxing adapts to YOUR experience. It’s challenging but lots of fun! If you’re looking for a great interactive workout class I highly recommend!"
