"Came for the tea and stayed for the incredible hospitality and knowledge on all things tea and Kung Fu. I highly recommend this location and it's high quality tea and teaware."
"I have years of martial arts experience. I met with Sifu Wayne and the first thing I wanted to do was just watch a class and see how things go. Then I arranged to have a discussion with him about my need to feel safe wherever I train. I'm a survivor of extreme child abuse and an actual Naval combat veteran, with PTSD and other conditions. Martial arts helps me to cope with life and obviously stay physically fit. After my discussion with Wayne about past experiences at other schools with instructors and students trying to use me as a punching bag, he assured me it wouldn't happen at his school. Everything was fine for about 2 classes. Then after I paid the intro fees, out of nowhere, his wife and another student became extremely rude. I talked to Wayne about it and I expressed this is not the type of environment I want to come into, and if he wanted me to leave I would just do so willingly. He tried to micro-invalidate my experience with experience with his wife and the other student, by saying it's normal at his school for people to not get along. However with my conditions and the things I've been through in life, I have no patience for that. I want an environment I can train in and focus strictly on the training, not people's prejudice or politics."
"Had the most amazing experience at Wai’s Gong Fu Tea House! Sifu Wayne is a master of tea and wing chun with training lineage tracing back to Ip Man. He has plenty of stories to tell while serving you teas sourced directly from reputable tea farms in China. The atmosphere he creates is so relaxing and meditative, and there’s so much beautiful Chinese paraphernalia to look at. You can also buy his teas and tea accessories at great prices. The sifu is a wonderful generous guy who cares deeply about sharing Chinese culture."
"If you’ve ever searched for tea in atlanta, you’ll see an endless list of bubble tea shops and cafe’s that serve cheap tea bags. However, 3 weeks ago I stumbled across this gem and did not believe it was real. I called the shop to schedule a tea tasting and Sifu Wayne, Kung Fu master and avid tea conniseur, answered right away. As soon as I walked through the entrance, I thought I was in China. Wayne welcomed me like family, and I experienced the most delicious and immersive tasting with high quality loose leaf white, red, puerh, and green tea served traditional gong fu style over a majestic wooden tea table. I have completely replaced my old coffee need with far healthier teas, which each have unique effects on focus. I’ve gone back every weekend since first visiting to introduce friends to this incredible place, and strongly encourage you to come experience it for yourself."
"Amazing experience! Wayne was very attentive and patient in helping me plan the day for my boyfriends birthday. We learned so much and were inspired by his knowledge. I highly recommend visiting !"
