"I went and got a massage from Emily today. I was immediately taken by her warmth and happy vibe as we met in the lobby. Before starting, she asked me all the questions a massage therapist should ask. I opted for a lighter touch instead of a deep-tissue-massage. I went to see her with shoulder pain from at least a couple of months ago. She worked on my shoulder and it made a big difference. Interestingly she was not brutal with the muscles, but they relaxed. It also turns out that she is a dog lover (big time). So, we had a good time talking about dogs, rescue, care and the value of dogs in our life. As a holistic vet, I promote massage for our older arthritic pets. Once the pandemic is over, we may try to do a massage training session for the pet owners at our clinic.
