"when i moved in apt carpet was in poor condition with spots..cabinets were in poor condition had a light in closet that i could never use cause they never fully fixed.. stove was dirty including dripping trays..so when i moved out i left dripping trays on stove...but yet they charged me for dirty trays and they were the ones that never changed them and they charged me 200 and something for shampooing the used carpet ( that had stains when i movedin) im very disappointed in how dishonest people are i tried so hard to keep nice because it was a mess when moved in..i only had holes in wall from hanging pictures and shelves( i admit that) but it sucks being charged for stuff they never fixed even when i asked..landlord was nice but didn't make things fair... i dealt with lot of faults that i guess i shouldn't have"

"The time I spent here was the absolute lowest point of my life. You could hire a professional cleaning company after you move out and the owners will still find a way to charge you for anything and everything. You have a better chance at wining the lottery than getting your deposit back. The laundry here is disgusting and the absolute lowest of the low live here….it’s a real shame. Glad I have moved on to better things. They need new management desperately, but miracles are hard to come by these days…"

"I do not ever recommend Clearview Townhomes in Cadiz, Ohio. Just don't rent off of them. They are unprofessional and do not communicate clearly with renters. They also make it to where you do not get your deposit back no matter how clean you leave the place or thorough you are. Just sharing my experience. Their excuses ranges from bringing in expensive contractors, ordering custom items, etc. Edit: Any damages caused by the fancy contractors that they bring in (in my case, the contractors made holes in the wall and then charged me for paint and holes that I did NOT do myself), they will charge YOU for it. Additionally, they are great at making things up and charging you for small things like light bulbs, stove foliage, etc. When they call to discuss your charges or false claims, they have a great way of disregarding anything logical and are incredibly rude. On the day I moved in, the manager was nowhere to be found and we had to get ahold of corporate. We sat there with our rental truck for 2-3 hours."

"After recently moving out from renting the place for work they kept half my deposit! There is a normal thing called wear and tear on an apartment. I'm a pipeliner and was only there to sleep and shower. They charged me for shampooing the carpet and vacuuming, drip pans. The stove which was rarely used in the 2 months I was there. I would be cautious when renting from this company. But luckily I did take pictures of the apartment before & after I left. Like I have time to squabble in court! Unbelievable"

"Nice quiet apartments. I was only there a few months for work but my family enjoyed living here. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is due to the fact that I wasn't informed up front that $150 of my security deposit would be forfeited due to a contract they have with a cleaning company to shampoo the carpets. Our apartment only had carpet upstairs, and with little ones we were rarely on the carpeted area. I have photos of it looking close to brand new when we moved. Other than that the views of the sunsets/sunrises are beautiful. They have a deer family behind the apartments so we were able to watch them from our window, and we even had a skunk visitor in the back storage room. Neighbors were very friendly and keep to themselves. Once the playground is updated, it would be a perfect family spot. If central air is important to you be sure to ask for an apartment with one. Our apartment was updated with central air right before moving in, I noticed other apartment had window units."
