Pony Tail Acres

Pony Tail Acres is a premier equestrian facility located on 38 acres in Powder Springs, Georgia. Our full-service horse boarding farm offers horse riding lessons through our Riding Academy, where we focus on traditional horsemanship and creating knowledgeable horsemen and women. With over 40 years of experience, our staff specializes in caring for horses of all breeds and disciplines, with a primary focus on eventing.

As the first approved riding center in Georgia for the United States Pony Club, our program offers a wide range of opportunities for riders looking to pursue a professional career with horses. We emphasize good horsemanship, sportsmanship, and team membership, creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all of our riders and their families.

We are currently seeking a farm hand to join our growing team, with positions available for weekdays, weeknights, and weekends/holidays. Horse experience is required, and this is a great opportunity for anyone interested in gaining hands-on experience in farm maintenance or the equine industry. Responsibilities include cleaning stalls, turning horses in and out, barn maintenance, feeding, and other related tasks.

The part-time position offers competitive pay per shift worked, with a 2-week check-in and 90-day probationary period required. Applicants should be able to handle the workload, be punctual, work well with children present, and have reliable transportation.
