"The lead instructor tries to discourage new students in order to promote his own. I know that may not make sense to training beginners. It will make sense to people who have trained for years, and have had to switch gyms."
"I train in Kykoushin Karate back home, and I'm in the same martial arts lineage through Shigeru Oyama. I came into Atlanta for work a few ago and I stopped in for a training session. The guys were very friendly and welcoming and I worked up a good sweat. It was great knowing the same katas as everyone else, even though I clearly need more practice. I can't wait to visit again and I recommend anyone looking for no-BS, hard-core, full-contact karate to check this place out. OSU!!!"
