"I think it is ashame the way Best Buy has done people. That us why we delt with them. With the Total Tech we had it was awesome. Now they have changed it. You still have to pay for the Toral Tech but they want to charge you to gave someone to come out. They are defiantly going to lose business over this. We have purchased a lot from them but I guess we will have to take are business some where else. It's sad because my husband and I both have health issues and can't get to camera's to take them down and bring them in. Thanks for taken people for a ride"

"Not much left anymore since Best Buy has hiked the prices of total tech and taken away most of the quality services. Pay more get less. Most repairs cannot even be performed on many items taken into Geek squad which renders coverage worthless. Also, protected items that have a replacement guarantee will only be covered with prorated refunds minus deductibles that are NOT listed for the item. Ex: a $40 item will be replaced with a $33 gift card!! Again, PAY more GET less! Tried to purchase 3 electronic items - could t get help so I left."

"After paying extra for complete Geek squad protection for 2 years (despite the numerous horror stories I had read) covering any mechanical failures of my newly purchased optoma hd142x projector, I experienced issues. After speaking & confirming coverage with best buy customer service, I drove over an hr to my closest store. After waiting around over an hour, I was denied service at Best buy in Charleston, WV. I was told that my service was cancelled when it absolutely was not. After driving back home over an hr away ( 2hrs+ & $5 in tolls), I contacted Best buy CS AGAIN. Was ONCE AGAIN TOLD BY A SUPERVISOR I WITHOUT A DOUBT WAS COVERED on a recorded line. ( which I informed the agent of.) Once again I called Charleston, WV Best buy only to be berated by a geek squad "manager". I was put on hold for almost 2 hrs, then while trying to explain to her what I have been through and that I was told if there were any questions for her to contact CS, SHE HUNG UP ON ME!!!!! The WORST customer service I have EVER EXPERIENCED IN MY LIFE. Beyond rude, unhelpful, belittling & confrontational. I feel totally helpless & swindled. My family and I have spent THOUSANDS of dollars on Microsoft Surfaces, 2 1080p projectors, 5 tablets, galaxy s5 (at retail of $750) unlocked galaxy note 8 ( at retail of $900) 3 Surface keyboards at $149 each, 2 active (shutter) 3d glasses, to mention a few. We have a best buy CC. I have never been so disappointed & screwed by a company we have been so loyal to. Thia has to be fixed or I will be forced to take any and all action possible to get this travesty resolved."
