Reviews of Dr. Chinenye Adimora
"My first visit with Dr. Adimora-Okolie was a procedure done it office. I was very nervous about what was to be done and the outcome. She was very informative and showed compassion for my concern. Her nurse was awesome walking me through each step. Though she is not my normal practitioner I’d be happy to come back for any other visit."
"Very rude and no bed side manor at all. Didn’t allow us to speak or voice our concerns and made my sister cry during her PP appt because she was not understanding or willing to listen. None of the staff are any good and we will not be returning. If 0 stars could be given that’s what they would get!!! DO NOT GO HERE DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE WITH YOUR MEDICAL CARE!!!"
"I just moved to the area and thought I researched well only to realize that I didn’t do enough research on Dr Adimora prior to my appointment. WHC overall has great reviews which is what I went by, but I should have researched Adimora in particular! She was indeed cold and brash; going to the obgyn can be intimidating already, but she didn’t make it any more comfortable. I’ve been to obgyns and they are usually inviting, asking questions, and make you feel at ease. But I actually felt more anxious with her. I’m planning to get a 2nd opinion and I more than likely will never go to her again. Gave 1 star and do not recommend"
"I have never been treated so poorly by a Doctor and I truly have no idea how this woman still has a job. I am leaving the WHC practice because of her. She has absolutely NO bedside manner, she constantly interrupted me and made me feel like I was wrong when I tried explaining. She was so horrible that I started sobbing during the appointment. I called my mom to have her on speaker to help me once I was so shaken up and my mom couldn’t believe the way she was speaking to us either. She also diagnosed what she felt like was going on with me without even looking at my ultrasound (she admitted she had not seen it) and proceeded to prescribe me a medication that has a side effect of seizures…I have epilepsy so this would have been a real issue if I would have taken the medication. I asked if she was aware of my medical history and epilepsy, she said she had not looked at my chart. I have spoken with MANY friends that have also seen her and not a single person has had a good experience. **UPDATE (3/22/22) I saw Dr. Adimora a few months ago for very abnormal postpartum bleeding as explained above. I knew that something wasn’t right with my body, but she would not even let me explain. Her midwife told me the day before I saw Dr. Adimora that I had retained product and should have a D&C, so I went to see Adimora for a second opinion before proceeding. As stated above, she did nothing but belittle me and make me feel extremely confused and literally yelled at me that there was no way I had any retained product from delivery. Well, I continued to bleed for 4 months and it was very apparent that something was wrong. I switched from the WHC practice (because of her) to a new practice and found a doctor that I trusted who has finally taken care of the problem. My new Doctor advised a D&C which we proceeded with and they did, in fact, find retained product from delivery which had been causing me MONTHS of agony. Dr. Adimora made so many mistakes and was rude beyond belief and I strongly advise that you do not trust her with your medical needs."
"I like her. She is very blunt and knowledgeable. If you have questions, or concerns let her know first. I had previous medical issues so being honest, upfront, and having documentation made my life much easier and appointments smoother."
