"A friend of mine had life insurance with this company. She eventually wanted to cancel and asked for my help in doing so since we're close by and we've become friends. I called the main office, but they explained that all this happens through the agent, which, I thought was a little strange. I complied in this and after contacting the agent, he immediately hung up on me. I thought I just lost connection, but my friend said they hung up on her before too. I tried to call a few more times to no avail. The next day, my friend was visited by someone who apparently tried to convince her out of canceling. Still, there was no help in taking care of this. My friend called me again and asked for me to call again. So I called again and this time spoke to the manager. To be frank, he wasn't a very good help at all. At this point of frustration, I thought I could focus on venting, but at this point I just wanted to take care of the issue. He started interrupting me with questions that were aimed at discrediting what I was saying and so I just told him to please cancel her policy. He said he would send someone out to do this and I asked what I could say to my friend so she would know what's going to happen. He repeated the fact that I didn't need to know and they would take care of it. I clarified that all I wanted to know was what I could say to her. He then asked for my name and became more heated. I then told him how unprofessional the service was and he interrupted and threatened to hang up, which he did. This branch was so unprofessional here in Atlanta. I'm thinking of getting some insurance for myself and my wife, and I know now that I will steer clear of this company."
