Reviews
"I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Bikoff. He treated my Mother-in-Law when she had a very severe stroke, back in 1996. He was in practice with Dr. Schnapper, and the way they treated her was above and beyond excellent. I wish that he still practiced in Conyers."
"Ask for Dr. Schnapper Dr. Schnapper changed and likely saved my life. When I was a teenager, I spent years going to different neurologists trying to figure out why I was in such immense pain. No one had an answer, and on the first visit I had with Dr. Schnapper he said "that sounds a lot like cluster headaches" -- I'm in my early thirties now and I have been dealing with CH for nearly two decades. Dr. Schnapper is the greatest neurolgist I have seen, and I have seen plenty over the last 17 years. I'm in a cluster now, and was explaining to a family member what Dr. Schnapper meant to me having gone through so much to try and find an answer. I wanted to relay this so it reached Dr. Schnapper. As well as Ms. Linda (although I believe she is at the conyers location), you are a lifesaver, too. Thank you for all you both have done for me. Thank you for all you do for everyone. This review can't possibly explain what this practice has meant to my life, but I hope anyone reading this who may be in pain, or is uncertain as to what my be going on neurologically --- reach out to this practice, you won't find a better neurologist."
"I have communication issues with the office staff. When you call the answering service picks up. Noone answers the phone, calls back, and you can't leave a message. All very frustrating especially when you need medication or just be in touch with the drs office for any reason. The office lady is rude. I asked her make a correction on some paperwork she rolled hers at me like an angry teenager then asked me if I wanted her to correct it. I was not about to sign paperwork without it being corrected. She corrected the paperwork and then I signed it."
"Stress free Neurologist. Dr Schnapper exsudes competence and his mannerism and approach to working with myself helped make me feel totally at ease and consequently discussions with Dr Schnapper were open with great back and forth dialogue. Dr Schnapper is a people person, laid back and explains each process and what to expect or what certain testing results paint a picture of ones current status. A 4 stars rating from me is equivalent to 5 stars; since nearly everyone evolves with time and can improve. The front office team occasionally seem blunt, perhaps even a tad rude at times especially when they are helping multiple patients. As patients we need to recognize their situation and cut them some slack. At the end they have always delivered. I would definitely recommend Dr Schnapper. Their office can be difficult to find the first time. It is on the back side, essentially the basement of a large home converted to Office Spaces."
"I give them two stars because we didn’t even get to see the doctor. He may be a great doctor but we won’t know. You have to move heaven and earth to get an appointment here. Be prepared to have a referral and from your primary doctor ONLY regardless of whether your insurance requires it or not. Without a referral you are “wasting your time and theirs”. They don’t work with any other speciality doctors and won’t accept referrals from them either. The front office person is rude. My girlfriend was told by her gyno that she needed to see a neurologist for migraines. She called to make an appointment after getting this doctors name from a friend. After getting the run around about the referral, she contacted her gyno and they sent a referral. After a few days she called the office and was told they did not receive the referral. She contacted the gyno and they confirm that they received a confirmation that the referral had been received. She called the neurologist office back and they told her they did get it but they don’t work with gynocologist. She told them that is who told her to go. She doesn’t currently have a primary care physician as hers moved to a new location. She was told they would review the referral and let her know. We will be finding a different neurologist. If you have to jump through that many hoops just to get an appointment, I can only imagine what it’s like when you actually get there. The front office employee definitely needs as attitude adjustment. No one wants to have to go to the doctor and treating them like dirt makes it that much worse. Edit: They called back and scheduled an appointment for the following day. They then called and rescheduled the day of the appointment."
