Film Connection Film Institute is a unique institution located in the heart of Atlanta, Georgia, offering aspiring filmmakers the opportunity to learn film production in a real-world setting. Unlike traditional film schools, our programs are designed to provide hands-on experience working directly with industry professionals in a working film studio.
Our programs last from six to nine months and offer a cost-effective alternative to traditional film schools. Through our mentored externship approach, students are placed with seasoned film professionals who specialize in their area of interest. This real-world training not only prepares students for a career in filmmaking but also helps them build valuable industry connections.
Atlanta, with its diverse locations and thriving film industry, is the perfect place to learn the art of filmmaking. Our facility is equipped with the latest equipment, ensuring that students have access to everything they need to succeed in the industry.
For those unable to commit to in-person mentoring, we also offer remote learning opportunities. Our virtual learning platform allows students to receive personalized attention from mentors, feedback on their work, and answers to their questions.
By working directly with Atlanta-based filmmakers and production companies, our students have the opportunity to build real-world connections that can open doors in the industry. Our mentors are established professionals in Atlanta, giving students access to key players in the film industry.
