"ive seen about 2 things about trans/ homophobia in the schools. I went to otwell and transitioned about seventh grade. when my mother told the staff just as a heads up, ms.keavany (if thats spelled wrong i apologize) pulled me into a room, not her office, but a quiet little place, to tell me how i "wasnt really" and i should " stay normal because im probably a girl" that was 1 year ago, but i am dissapointed to hear that they are still treating students like this. any talk about LGBT rights, and you can get in trouble like i did multiple times. When students picked on me, i got ISS (11 days in total) this school was outrageous. I had a many teachers in my last year constantly calling me a girl, knowing the situation. I hope the kids going there now to change that. So, if you are considering your child going to Otwell, bring them to any other school. lakeside is nice, and closeby"
