Reviews of Barber Middle School
"This is without question the best middle school in Cobb County, if not the entire state. The teachers are well educated and always know what they're talking about. The lunch staff ROCKS at what they do, which is making delicious, nutritious meals for the staff and students. Anyway, all I'd like to say is that this school really isn't as bad as people say. Also, game recaps and game highlights aren't the same thing."
"The lunch here isn't perfect, school lunch isn't perfect no matter where you go. The teachers aren't perfect, no teacher is. But something that you get at Barber that you don't get anywhere else is the fact that no matter who you are or where you come from, you are accepted. You can tell that the staff work so hard to make it an enjoyable place for us to work. And the bullying here is almost non- existent. While this school in't perfect, it is home to me. Regardless of the bad reviews, barber is a great middle school, one of the best maybe."
"the teachers are rude and lie. For some reason they fired a amazing chorus teacher named Mr. Fallis which was a huge mistake because the teacher now is terrible. So many people quit because of HER attitude and shes a super boring teacher and in school were not really allowed to express our opinion without getting in trouble. So why not do it on here. Lastly, administration wouldn't let me drop that call and I literally die inside every single day i sit in the class room hearing her talk. But don't get me wrong not all the teachers are like this and in glad."
"I come from Washington State, and they are quite far behind. The teachers are polite, students are nice but could be nicer. Being the new student is usually difficult, but it was different here. Organization is not something people seem to pay attention to. If you want to pick your kid up from school, don't do it, let them ride the bus unless you want to sit in the car line for 20 minutes (not exaggerating)"
"This school is really bad. Most of the teachers don't actually teach us, they get on to us and yell at us for no reason. One time I coughed in one of my classes, and the teacher sent me outside for talking. The subs they hire are incredibly unprepared, during my second period, a student had to go to the bathroom, in result the substitute called an administrator and claimed the student did not do any work through the whole class. The food here is even more terrible, it makes Oscar the Grouch's trashcan look decent. Most of the students here are ghetto beyond belief, and nobody shows anyone respect, in one of my periods, some were making fun of a special needs student. For no reason whatsoever, other than the fact that he was disabled. There are only a few select people that bothers to show anyone any type of decent respect. One of my friends got OSS for a few days for self defense in a fight he didn't even start, and the kid who started it didn't get a punishment. This school is honestly a joke. -Cameron Dargin (Literally come at me)"
