"Great gym and great instructors. No go jiu jitsu, kids classes, kickboxing / Muay Thai, and fitness classes. Something for everybody."
"Been attending since 2017 and absolutely enjoy training here! Many friends and connections formed, always someone willing to help elevate my jiu jitsu game. Plus it's a great atmosphere for newcomers because the seasoned members love to teach and are extremely patient! Very solid mix of well-respected black belts, each whom teach varying styles since there's no one-size-fits-all for this discipline!"
"World class environment. From coaches to teammates, all are welcoming and I love being there every time the doors are open. The coaches do not care about skill level. They even have collegiate wrestlers and people who have been training a long time. So much knowledge amongst the school. Anyone is welcome. All are appreciated."
"The classes start and run on time. When I’ve run late getting to class there are always guys willing to stay later with me to get some rolls in. They have several collegiate wrestlers that have helped me develop takedowns. Most Thursday’s are dedicated to wrestling which is something few bjj gyms can offer. They have more legit black belts than any other gyms I’ve been to and they are modest and make developing new students the priority. The big guys don’t smash everyone and have great technique. I could go on and on."
"Whether you're brand new to the sport or an experienced grappler, I believe there's a place for you at Veritas. It's overall a very individual process. If you want to take your time and get introduced slowly, everyone is accommodating. The whole crew knows that Jiu-Jitsu can be intimidating to newcomers, and no one wants to lose a teammate. Having said that, if you are ready for something more intense, there are training sessions that have a faster pace and harder rolling. It can be what you want it to be. The gym has a diverse group of coaches. No matter your strengths or weaknesses, there is someone in the gym that has had a similar experience or style and can help you improve your game. Note: The kid's program is also fantastic. I've had friends and coworkers tell me that they'd tried karate and taekwondo in the past, but that their kids loved Jiu-Jitsu the most."
