Natures Classroom Staff

Nature's Classroom Staff is a hands-on educational program located at 757 County Road 614 in Mentone, Alabama. Since 1991, the institution has been offering experience-based learning in an outdoor setting on Lookout Mountain. With a focus on team building, Nature's Classroom welcomes participants from public schools, private schools, home school groups, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, youth groups, and more for custom programs.

The dedicated teachers at Nature's Classroom are passionate about education and sharing their knowledge with participants. All teachers are college graduates, certified in First Aid/CPR, and undergo a criminal background check before employment. The program offers a variety of hands-on activities designed to connect participants to the subjects being taught.

The beautiful facility on Lookout Mountain features an open-air gymnasium, rustic cabins, grassy fields, scenic trails, and majestic rock formations along the Little River. During the summer months, the facility is home to Riverview Camp For Girls, offering a perfect setting for outdoor learning.

Nature's Classroom is committed to customizing every aspect of the program for each group, from activity choices to arrival and departure times. The institution is accredited by both the American Camp Association and the Association for Experiential Education, highlighting its dedication to providing quality experiential education alongside traditional classroom instruction.
