Reviews of ASK Pediatric Services
"Never return calls, WILL NOT RESPOND TO IMPORTANT FAXES. CLOSES BEFORE time. Trying to find a more suitable physician."
"It was very easy to book our appointment. The staff was friendly and we were seen by the doctor very soon after our scheduled appointment time. My daughter got her ears pierced and the process was very quick. I would recommend this practice to friends!"
"I was CONSISTENTLY interrupted by the medical student, who quickly went through a check list with a minor who didn't fully understand each question, my daughter even asked him what certain words meant and he totally ignored her moving on to the next questions. Furthermore he wrongly relayed the concerns/reason for the appointment. Due to this miscommunication, We spent most of the doctors visit being handled rudely by Dr. Bailey. Its unfortunate that I had to advocate my understanding of policy, in order to clarify that I was only requesting my child to be further examined for a Possible condition. If I didn't speak up for my child, she would have been sent home without further testing based off of a quick glance and rushed questionnaire completed by a student. Dr. Bailey even mention being unsure if I was able to afford certain treatment. Either way, early detection is the key to success, and I don't feel as though effective communication, empathy and respect is an objective at this practice. Update!: Below is a response from Dr Bailey that I COMPLETELY agree with! But as I stated before, It's unfortunate the doctor didn't allow us an opportunity to be fully understood. Being cut off mid sentence could only allow room for confusion and intimidation. If the doctor had put as much energy into listening instead of giving us a overbearing educated response, she would have understood that I KNEW my concerns and her expertise are two totally different things, and that I was simply requesting that she take the proper precautions to thoroughly check my daughter, instead of doing so only after being recorded and asking us to please stay whenever we were about to leave in the middle of the appointment. There is no point in attending a doctors appointment and not being allowed to fully express the reason for concern. I trust that the doctor knows exactly what needs to happen, which is why I stated several times during the appointment that I trust her knowing what needs to be done. We just wanted to at least be heard and not belittled while explaining concerns. Sorry that you misunderstood me. And thanks for finally running the proper test instead of sending her home like you were about to before stopping us from walking out of that appointment. Its not about being right, Its about being patient and humble. But You were right! I just wish you had actively listened to me tell you that I trusted you. And again, I'm not sure what that student told you prior to seeing us but I'm sorry for the miscommunication, Yet as I further read other reviews I understand that I am not alone. May God Bless you and your practice."
"We Really like this office. We moved here a couple months ago and I needed to find a pediatrician. They took my 3 kids in no problem. Front desk and back office were very kind, Dr. Bailey was amazing. I didn't think I would be able to find anyone comparable to our last pediatrician (who i absolutely loved) but I actually have! She even offers opportunities to come in for health education for children and parents as they enter into body changes. Love that! I also didn't have an issue keeping in contact through Phreesia which Is perfect for me since I can't always talk on the phone. I'm glad I decided to come here for my pediatric needs."
