Reviews
"This school is chaotic and promotes bullying, violence, discrimination. They say it is a no bully zone but how many other students I hear making sexist, racist slurs makes me want to scream. The students here are aggressively getting out of control. We can't even walk to lunch without having to be supervised. Fights are constantly happening and teachers and staff do not listen. They blow it off and let it build up until someone does snap amd then they penalize whoever was involved. Doesn't matter if the other did something in self defense. Children do not have a chance at this school. Do not send your kids here."
"Worse bus service ever! Not only was my child injured on the bus, they are constantly late."
"This place is the coolest even though I'm still a kid I have really lots of fun at the school"
"I do not believe the uncontrollable students are entirely the staffs fault. There are TOO many without real parent evolvement of any kind running wild and they can not be controlled. Staff is grossly out numbered and the majority of the kids could care less about learning. Those two together equal bullying, rampant disrespect of staff (ESPECIALLY to substitutes) and a general anarchial feel that leaves students who do actually care about learning feeling complete irritation and hopelessness. My twins did have attended the entire year and have staff who they see daily in SEPERATE classes still calling them "WHATCHOOMACALLIT" because they can not tell them apart. This resulted in STUDENTS calling them this which after months resulted in my daughter getting into a fight. The teacher who started the name calling and whom they had reported the other students to denied them going to her at all to cover he down behind. So yeah, THAT was a total staff fail that should have had that teacher in big trouble. Not my daughter in ISS."
"The number of incidents involving student Beatings (corporal punishment) in this school by school officials is absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! Reading the district code of conduct is like reading something from a third world country. While most schools in the nation are trying to prevent bullying and violence--this school promotes it with bully administrators hitting hundreds of young people--discriminately against minorities. Something is really WRONG here and the school and people that are doing this need to be investigated"
