"Be careful sending your child here. I’ve watched my sons teacher physically pick up the child and move them for sitting in the wrong spot on the carpet. I’ve witnessed staff yelling at children. My sons teacher is always on her phone. My son was hit and bit within a week. There’s no cameras to review staff or student interactions. Also, the bathroom has three toilet with the door always open so your child has to use the bathroom in front of staff, classmates, and other parents. The child has no bathroom privacy. If you confront staff, they say you’re abusive and don’t believe you when you are clearly upset about the issue. Also, first six weeks of class, they do not do school work to confront “behaviors.” However, this method clearly doesn’t work as my son was hit and bit after this period. The child broke his skin and he has a massive bit mark. Do not send your child here because they aren’t being monitored correctly."

"Ivy Hill Academy has been amazing for our son. He was just a little behind with his speech, but since going to Ivy Hill he’s had a true word explosion. The way they go about teaching conscious discipline to not only the kids, but in a respectful and professional way to the parents is amazing and incredibly helpful. Ms. Maria and Ms. Emily are so patient, caring and loving to our little man. An example of this is Ms. Maria taking the extra time at drop off to teach me “ I love you rituals” to practice at home with my son at drop off and Ms. Emily stepping in and giving Jackson extra attention on family days when my husband and I aren’t able to attend due to work. The communication is amazing. Overall, I can’t recommend this daycare enough. They really genuinely care about these kids."
