"I am very confused about what the owner/director Ms Rita's problem is..how can anyone be that unfriendly? She seems to completely not care about your child..if your child is hurt or sick or crying..she is completely not caring. There will constantly be new teachers for your child. Some of the teachers seem very nice, but I have witnessed others yelling at kids for no reason."
"My Family would like to thank the ENTIRE Early Years Child Development staff for the MANY years of childcare services provided for my son since he joined your "school family" at the age of 6months old. Thank you all for the care, compassion, security, parties, field trips, & learning/teaching foundation!! This is such a wonderful facility. Our experience has been a very rewarding and satisfactory one. Every teacher from the infant rooms all the way up to VPK instructors are more than capable of educating the students to enter into Kindergarten ABOVE grade level. I rarely write online reviews, so if you come across this review because you are looking for a daycare facility for your little one make sure to schedule a visit with them and hopefully enroll them at this school."
"We visited this daycare for the first time ever and was ready to enroll our son there due to it's location, and availability. however upon visiting we noticed children in cramped spaces called "rooms" by the director Rita, we then noticed how unsanitary the place was and how chaotic it was. The staff seemed very unprofessional and was even rude to me on the phone when I called to inquire about cancelling my son's enrollment there. They claimed they could not return my registration fee however they had not yet cashed the check I gave them. They said this was because we "signed a contract" however contract does not state that the registration fee is non refundable (even if your child never enrolls). Seems like this place is broke down and hard up for money! AVOID this daycare moms unless you just need to find somewhere with the space to accommodate your child."
"The one-year-old teacher is wonderful and has so much love for the children in her classroom! She is constantly engaging the children with hands-on activities and reading to them, among other things. The assistant director, Tracey, is very disrespectful and has no concern for the well-being of the children or families that go to the school. I will say, however, that the director is very supportive of her staff, even when they have acted miserably towards families in their care and even though misbehavior should never be tolerated. I'm very disappointed that the behavior of the management staff has driven us to find other care for our child (I don't appreciate those who lie and present my child's enrollment at their establishment as a way to try to coax me into being mistreated.). If someone cannot respect you as a parent, I ask you to consider if they respect your child(ren) when you are not present. For our family, the risk that occurs by placing our child in such an environment is not worth it. When working with children and managing a day care facility, it is important to know how to treat children and their families and the management staff is far removed from the appropriate care and consideration required in this regard. Again, the school is blessed with many wonderful teachers and it is an absolute shame that there was no way for our family to justify such poor treatment by the management staff despite our child's teacher truly being a shining star! FYI- This rating is provided by a former nanny, babysitter, and pre-school employee who is also a trained elementary school teacher. I do this solely so that others will know what has occurred and what they may experience (assuming the school allows this rating to remain for review)."
"I wanted my name posted so that anyone reading would know that my review is extremely accurate and that my husband and I are very disappointed in the Director and her negligence. I also did not put the name of the teacher because I actually liked her. I just wanted her to be truthful with me, but in the end, I was disappointed. Filthy playground equipment outside No abc's or 123's on the walls No curriculum whatsoever No sheet or blanket for 2 days. My son had to lay on a dirty, plastic mat for 2 1/2 hours. He was forced to lay down even if he wasn't tired. I was mortified. The "teacher" lied on the report cards about his activity and whether or not he ate. My son was not given food or water for the entire day. When we would get home, my son would be dehydrated and starving around 3pm. She wrote that he "napped" from 2:15 to 2:30 on the report. So he was forced to get up after only 15 minutes. Unacceptable. I told her no wonder he's always crying when I pop in to check on him and her class. She also said my son did "creative painting" yet she couldn't produce any of his work and his clothes and body were remarkably clean. Only one week after I removed my son from the daycare, My child screams every time I pass by the school or get him dressed in the morning to run errands, obviously still feeling effects of something that happened to him in those 3 days he was there. When I get him dressed in the morning he cries and refuses to leave the house because he thinks I'm taking him to the daycare. The false pretense that my son would be in preschool when in fact the "teacher" told me that he was in the daycare section of the school. I was shocked. When I questioned her about her classroom and why she didn't have anything on her walls and questioned the curriculum, she was defensive and her attitude immediately turned to sarcasm. When I brought my concerns to the asst Director, Tracy, she told me that my questioning the teacher about her classroom would be the same as the teacher asking me about the cleanliness of my home. I found this to be a ridiculous response and very inappropriate. When I asked for a refund due to the misrepresentation, I was told I signed a contract and no refund would be given. Still one week later, have not received a phone call from Rita the Director. I witnessed a child being "tossed" into "time out" for absolutely nothing. This child was screaming and crying when he was grabbed aggressively by the "teacher". I intend to have a meeting with the parents of this child to make them aware. My son got sick on Wednesday (his 3rd and final day) and was out for 4 days and I didn't get one phone call from the school or "teacher" asking about his absence. As of today, we are still waiting to hear from the director."
