"This is the only PPG location I’ve had an issue with. The provider we saw was competent, informative, and knowledgeable but the administrative and support staff (front desk, triage nurse) have been rude every time I have interacted with them. They’ve also been incompetent with administration/paperwork."
"UPDATED: In response from the owner, I was incorrect about not being able to schedule same week. However, it is still tone deaf in that a parent must take off 2 days of work to take their children in for physicals. We can go to Little Clinic, Urgent Care, etc. and get 3 or 4 appointments in a day. Just not here. This goes against the "do no harm" principle in that it pushes more patients to move away from primary care, just not get physicals, or lose money to sustain their family. The owner does not seem to care about this. It's sad this happens. I would have preferred them close the office, state they only want cash pay per visit, etc. We never cancel, we have good insurance, pay our bills. We will just move to someone who cares about their patients and their families. Our original doctor retired and this practice took on his former patients. Has had good doctors and NP's. However, it's been poorly managed. We have (painfully) worked through a lot of the painful points. Some items were coded incorrectly and even wrongly billed. There has been some horrible office staff, but over time it got somewhat better. But now the overall downward trend continues.. Today, 11/27, we attempted to schedule physicals for our two daughters that have been seen at this practice for years. My wife takes them because of their age. We were informed that there is a new owner and they are refusing to see multiple kids in the same week. When asked why, she was told it was because they have too many cancelations. Note - We've never canceled appointments with them, and we've stuck with them when many others have left. Not sure how that makes a difference being in one week vs two. My wife spoke with the office manager who restated the new policy and does not matter that she would need to take off 2 days of work to take them. Additionally, we were informed that if we were to cancel an appointment (for any reason), we would also be refused to be seen at this practice ever again. We will now be moving practices."
"Crazy reading the previous post. We have been coming here since our daughter was a newborn 10/2022. She has been treated with so much care and attention. The staff is always friendly. They have a big waiting area for sick children which I appreciate the separation, we don’t want our daughter to get sick. We don’t usually wait longer than 10 minutes for our name to be called for our appointment. The one time we went without an appointment early morning bc our daughter was sick they saw us fairly quickly bc they had a cancellation. They also send us home with a book for us to read with our baby after every visit. This location is a lot cleaner than the Norcross location. They are currently renovating but we don’t see any mess when we are there. I love Dr. Woods he’s the absolute best and every nurse we have encountered there."
"Our son has been a patient for several years and has received exceptional care. Each and every visit we are treated with care and compassion from all the doctors (Especially Dr. Wood and Ms. Khelsea) and all of the front office staff. They are all very friendly and very professional. Highly recommend."
"2 part UPDATE My kids have been going here for years. They have more than one location. All of them are about the same. I will say the Norcross office offers better service. This location is more convenient for me. It takes forever for them to answer the phone. My kids just had to wait a whole week on an appointment to see a Dr for them to return to school. I will be changing their Dr very soon. UPDATE After seeing the Dr this time, I’m going to hold off on changing their Dr. My kids seen the Dr instead of the NP and I’m going to assume that is what was taking so long. We was there at 9 but didn’t get called back til after 10:30. The Dr however, addressed all my questions and concerns. By the time we left I felt reassured. Will update review at a later date."
