Jasper county primary school

"My son has attend this school from Kindergarten through Second grade and it has been a wonderful experience. The teaching staff and administration use all the tools they have available to them to make your childs learning experience wonderful. All staff members are an asset to our children and our community. Its very upsetting to see so many negative reviews of our school, especially if they are by people who do not have children that attend. I understand if some people do not believe in corporal punishment but you have to sign a form allowing the school permission to administer it on your child. The option is up to the parents and any child who receives corporal punishment is only doing so with the parents permission. People need to keep that in mind before they go judging our school based on some video made by a disgruntled parent who ALLOWED her child to be punished in that manner."

"As educators I would hope your first objective would be nurture,guide, and protect your children, certainly not beat them with paddles. These are children, human beings, not punching bags. What kind of message do you send when you model this kind of violent response to a behavior to which you object? Some education."

"I am disgusted. My children will never attend this school. And anyone who does consider this school, think long and hard on how you feel about another person hitting your child with a wooden board they call a paddle! Or consider how you would feel to be threatened by the school staff! Horrible."

"This school system is a joke Jasper county schools are full of bullies running the school they have been know to scream at the children and snatch on them. Both of those woman need to be put in jail and fired they lied and threatened the mother then made her leave the room. My son is in the elementary school and I'm seriously thinking of home schooling my son next year. We send our kids to school to learn and believe they are safe but this shows our kids are not even safe from the staff. Really sad tbh"

"This has to be the worst of them all. I just watched a video of two women paddling students. Then the woman tells the mother to leave as her child is being held down screaming "Mommy help me". I would rather home school my children then allow another person discipline them in this way, I don't care what you say the PARENT is the one to discipline their child not the school system. Of the child is showing disruptive behavior in class then in school suspension is always an option. I'm sorry but I'd seriously do some bodily harm to anyone that laid their hands on my children but I have taught them I mean business and don't have to get aggressive. Horrible school let me see them to that to any child..."
