"I approached my daughter's recent pediatric appointment with Dr. Kearney, hoping for a thorough and compassionate examination, especially given the medical complexities my daughter has faced, including a significant hospital stay. Unfortunately, the care provided fell short of expectations. Rather than focusing on my daughter's immediate health concerns, such as her breathing issues- something majorly concerning, the appointment was diverted to focus on a questionnaire about my postpartum depression. While PPD is an important issue, it should not overshadow urgent pediatric health concerns. Moreover, Dr. Kearney's response to my daughter's breathing problems was dismissive, redirecting me to follow up with an ENT specialist without considering that pulmonary issues also fall within a pediatrician's scope. Additionally, there was a lack of communication about my daughter's developmental milestones – an essential aspect of pediatric care. This oversight left me without valuable information that every parent should receive to monitor their child's growth and development. What was most troubling was the lack of empathy and the condescending demeanor displayed by Dr. Kearney. As an African-American mother, I am acutely aware of the disparities in healthcare, and it is deeply disappointing to encounter such treatment when the choice of a healthcare provider was made with the hope of receiving understanding and equitable care. Furthermore, after a severe medical event that required my daughter to spend almost two weeks in the hospital, there was no follow-up from Dr. Kearney – no phone calls, no visits, no check-ins while she was there. This lack of concern is baffling and troubling for any parent facing the challenges of PPD and PTSD. Professionalism in healthcare is not just about medical expertise; it is also about the care and compassion shown to patients and their families. It is about ensuring that every patient (and their caregiver) feels heard, valued, and treated with dignity. Regrettably, this was not the standard of care we received from Dr. Kearney. She is fired as her pediatrician."

"Love this office! Dr. Kearney in particular is amazing! This was the third pediatrician we used in Georgia and by far our favorite. Dr. Kearney actually takes the time to speak with the kids to hear from them about their conditions. I think she actually does it to help boost their confidence and put them partly in control of the visit. The other pediatricians speak about the kids, not to them. I always really appreciated this. We recently moved so I'm hoping we can find another pediatrician like Dr. Kearney, but I'm really grateful we were able to see her for the few years that we did. Highly recommend this office!"
