"Wasted my time. I went in for my appointment and was told they could not do my taxes because I do not have my paper Social Security card. I am 66 years old. I lost my SS card in 1974 while I was in the US Navy. I have never had one since. I have never even been asked for one to get my taxes prepared! I have filed my taxes every year since 1974 and generally have someone prep them for me, never an issue before today at Jackson Hewitt. I have been receiving SS since last November. They know that my number is accurate. I do not have time to find and visit a SS office (the only way to get the card) before April 15th. Thanks a lot. Guess I go to the other guys."
