Children's Hospital at Erlanger Emergency Room

"Took my son here by myself. My toddler hurt his wrist and Megan made checking in and parking so much easier. Jen quickly diagnosed my son and we were out within 15 minutes. Emily was also great. Thank you so much for making our first ER as painless as possible. Visit on 1/28/24"

"My husband's was in the children's er for 14 hours!!!! Alot of the staff were very unconcerned about how my son was doing, and they took thier time doing anything."

"This use to be a great place but lately the experience is terrible, took granddaughter she has rsv and 201.4 fever after taking antibiotics for 5 days they did a urine test and watched her breathe they should have done an X-ray bloodwork I gave her Tylenol before we got there but I know something was not right more should have been done not to mention I drove 45 minutes to this hospital she was only six months old. I called the main person at the hospital to make a complaint no one has the courtesy to even call me back to apologize after many attempts to reach someone I decided to make a review report and with the BBB if I bring someone to the hospital for care I expect care given to the full extinction."

"Avoid this hospital Dealing with this hospital is the worse. one you will receive a bill from them and then you will receive a bill from the doctor. there billing department doesn’t have access to the doctor info so you have to call the doctor to give you insurance information since this hospital can’t do there job. so the claim can be process but the hospital will already process the claim. If you call them they will hang up with you and argue with you. I now know why everyone says this hospital sucks they don’t have good bed care and you get two different bills for the same service here we are in 2023 sound like they back in the 80s they need to step up there game and go to other states and other hospitals and see how they do things learn to be better. Do better Erlanger if you going subcontract out your doctors you need to get your bill and claims departments on the same page so they can have the information that simple"

"I would've said at one time this was the best place for my child she has been treated here since she was 10 months old. Recently things have been bad when we had to come here. This last visit is the absolute worst. My daughter has slept two days in the emergency room she's epileptic and admitted for seizures. They say no beds but yet we have seen several other children admitted upstairs that came in after her. Also they have accommodated families with extra seating as they have been moving chairs in the hallways at 2a.m. we have asked twice just for a chair and my husband has been sleeping in our car because they say they will bring one and never do. My daughter her first day here never got a breakfast lunch or dinner tray we just brought food in for her. She also never received any bedding pillows or blankets so she could sleep comfortably but we brought some.from home. I was called out about not wearing a mask when in two days no staff member said a word about wearing one and the other patients and parents aren't wearing them and half the staff aren't wearing a them or have them half on their face but this lady who works here called me out in front of the emergency room waiting area with people in it which was embarrassing.we have been patient not complained until now we have been understanding but enough is enough I do not what the change in staff and care here but it's definitely not for the better. We will most likely be moving our daughter somewhere else for care she is special needs and this has stressed her so bad and that isn't helping her condition any stressing. On a good note we have had some nice doctors that have tried helping but staying in a room that doesn't even have a door like the other rooms all we have is a curtain so she has no privacy either doesn't help at all. We hear the nurses laughing and talking all night we hear every door slam furniture being moved other patients talking so there is definitely no rest"
