"Updated since my last post - lots has changed with the school. Few experienced and well liked teachers have retired and school hasn’t done a good job to replace them. Class management and discipline has also been an issue in class rooms. We have moved on too after couple of months in Lower Elementary as our confidence has diminished. My suggestion for all parents (new/existing/prospective) - review the overall experience, academic qualifications and relevant teaching history at Montessori schools/Casa of the teachers. There are several different Montessori schools and several different types of Montessori education methods. They should all be relevant to what the school is claiming to be and must be truly representative of their education approach and standards. Excellent learning place , family like environment. Teachers are accessible and provide timely feedback on students progress."
"Very disappointed! Very unprofessional and unexperienced teacher Mrs. Ashley. She called me after observing my 4yo boy at the school for 1.5 days and told me my 4 yo child an outsider and needs to visit a therapist. He does not speak English. But he does speak perfect Russian. I notified the school in advance that my child only speak his native language and was reassured that it is not a problem. It looks like the only thing this teacher knows about Montessori is the Maria Montessori's name but nothing about Maria Montessori approch to the teaching! Going to file a complain about this school and service!"
"My little one just loves his school, his friends and his teacher, Ms. Rhonda!!! I hear about them every-single-day. :-) It also helps that we are seeing him blossom into an extremely intelligent young man! He tells me about things I don’t even know, like the Swan Tail butterfly Ms. Rhonda gifted him because he just LOVES admiring butterflies like his Momma."
"So thankful for this incredible school! My children have attended starting at 18 months in the toddler program up through elementary. It is a small school with incredible teachers and staff. Everyone is extremely kind and I am so appreciative of the diverse community."
"The school offers very personalized, tailored attention. Like all Montessori schools, it offers a great place where children learn Great Character, morals, and social advancement that goes well beyond what I've seen in public schools. We tried our daughter in a public school for one semester then quickly switched her back. It's not a stem program, which seems to be what one of the reviewers below wanted. For anyone looking for a stellar, character building environment, this place is it."
