Reviews of Miles Intermediate Elementary School
"Tolisa shut the hell up if your son is 4 years old he cant attend the school he must be of the age of 5 and 6 4 is not a legal age for a child to attend."
"This is an ok school, my son teacher Ms. Vega is awesome. As far as the office staff is horrible. On the third day of school I sat in the office while waiting on my son to pick him up. The office staff was being very rude to kids. Their was also a woman their that was being rude to me as well (I will update her name when I get it). As of today August 14th, My son was late today for a doctor appt. I walked in the office to sign a tardy slip and proceeded to take my son to class. As I'm walking my son to class Mr. James Jones yelled at me stating I couldn't walk my son to class, I need to get over here now, and was being rude. As an establishment no parent should be talked to that way. If I needed a pass to walk my son to class that should've been stated in the office before I proceed to walk my son to class. I drop my son off at school and walk him to class everyday. He's 4 years old why would I let a man take my child to class. The office staff need major training on their attitude and the rules. I'm just shocked as a parent and how I was treated was unacceptable. My employees would never talk to a customer or anyone in that manor. I am highly upset at the way this school treat parents."
"I moved to Fulton County recently only to move back to Gwinnett County. The students are extremely disrespectful, the principal and assistant principal are rude to students, and some students have special privileges because of how long they've attended the school. Teachers are unable to teach because of the student's behavior. I felt like I was at a military school while attending this school teachers were constantly yelling and students were constantly misbehaving. The Adamsville community is completely corrupted."
"I love Miles it is the best school my child ever went to"
"This is an ok public school we only spent one year here but it had more to offer than the charter school we came from. My child was very active in school he was in the 4th grade and was allowed to be on the 5th grade chess team, basketball and gifted and talented class. He was proud of to school. We got in the school I wanted for him is the reason we left. My son continued to grow when he was there reciving 8 awards and have all A's through the year. The fact they offer help all year around with academics was great we went to a couple although we didn't need it. It was a great resource. The staff is all so friendly."
