Reviews of Seeds of Excellence Christian Academy
"I absolutely LOVE this Christian based school! My daughter started right before Covid and the manner in which everything was handled was amazing. My child has learned so much and is above where she should be grade wise."
"I’ve had such an excellent experience with SOECA in the past year my child has been attending. The teachers are extremely nurturing to the kids enrichment. I would definitely entrust them if I were you with your child. I love their values and mission."
"Heard great things about this school from friends regarding their kids experience. I was told to complete application online & there’s an open spot starting Jan 2022. I paid the application fee in August & set up a family interview for sept. The assistant director 45min late to the virtual interview. I’ve called & sent several emails regarding the next steps and no one has followed up with me. Why can’t business be professional? I was excited & I’m so disappointed at this point!"
"I’m often times asked how I like my son’s school and I always say I absolutely love it but I always give the caveat that my initial focus for my, then 2-year-old, wasn’t academics. My son is literally the most loving human that I know. We say ‘I love you’ to each other in this house several times a day. We kiss and have ‘family huggies’ almost everyday. The other day he noticed a scab on his leg and he said ‘I’m healed in the name of Jesus’. He shares so easily with his sister and he understands hurt feelings. Though these are things we do at home, I know they are 100% reinforced at school. His teachers encourage and applaud him. They love on him. They taught him to say ‘amen hallelujah’ after praying lol. His character development is most important to me now. Oh and he can write his whole 14-character first name and last name (at 3 years old), so they’re definitely educating him as well. His first teacher, Mrs. Johnson was excellent. She had the gentle firmness that my son needs and he loved her. Often times during their time outside he'd want to sit right up under her rather than playing with the children. This year, in preschool, my son has had two amazing teachers as well, Ms. Daniels and Ms. Russell. They are like ying and yang and a perfect combination. I really can't say enough about how awesome they are. It's not perfect, not at all, and I've honestly made my share of complaints with communication and responsiveness of the administration. But what I've seen several times is the Principal, Mrs. Culver, wearing a hair net and apron on serving breakfast... I've seen her tending to a child who may need special attention in the moment... I've seen her working from 6:30am - 7pm to make sure the front desk was covered. I've experienced the heart of the staff that to me, despite any challenges, seem to be about God and the children. My daughter will be starting there when she turns a year old and my family will remain at SOECA for the foreseeable future."
"This is the best school ever! The staff and teachers are wonderful! My son is learning so much. My prayer is that they will extend to 5th grade so that my son can continue to matriculate there. We are very pleased thus far."
