"I am so frustrated with myself as a mama that I stayed as long as I did. Most importantly: READ the handbook on your OWN time, not in the building like I did with Rachel. I signed it right there and that was a big mistake. So many red flags in the fine print. So, let me start with the WORSE, not even a few weeks in my friend’s son was dropped from the changing table on his head and had to go to the ER. It was literally the week I started back at work, so the thought of finding a new place was stressful. We both chalked it up to the teacher made a mistake and she was fired. BIG mistake on my part. Communication- there is absolutely NONE at this daycare. Non-existent. Unless you are close with a teacher who you can text. Other than that, no app, weekly or monthly emails, nothing including if they are changing a policy. They changed the late fee policy without communicating with parents. I was charged not only 1, but 2. Of which one was during the Thanksgiving holiday break, and they were CLOSED. When I address it, Amber explained that Covid protocol was dropped but was that told to parents? No, it was not. They removed one but kept the Thanksgiving one. My son was in the nursery from July till October right around 13 months. We were notified with a picture of a paper via text saying he was going to be moving on Monday to the wobble room (this was on a Thursday). I was not happy and tried to fight it especially with the short notice. On Monday, the day he started they were out of ratio (this was VERY common) and they didn’t have enough kids, so they moved him back on the first day!! I was livid. I stressed my concerns and asked to move him back to the nursery for a little bit longer and it was ignored. Amber and Maddy both basically said to try the transition period. Then a couple days after, he didn’t make it to nap time as he wasn’t used to the new schedule, and he fell asleep on the FLOOR!!!! The teacher LEFT HIM THERE. My husband arrived and found him (photo attached). I sadly dismissed that and didn’t address it with the owner, that teacher quit the next day. After that he was moved weekly from the nursery to the wobble room due to teachers not showing up or out of ratio. For the people that work here: Diane, the owner is horrible. She has no compassion for children or the families. In the 5 months my child was there, I saw her MAYBE 3-4 times always sitting in her office. She has no idea what is going on at her daycare and neither does the new director, Amber. Racheal and Maddy in the front both have children of their own there, so they won’t say anything even if they know it is wrong. Honestly, the nursery teachers are the only reasons we stayed. So, if you want your child to be cared for poorly, dirty daily, constantly out of ratio and watch tv all hours of the day, this is the place for you. But I would highly recommend going anywhere else. "This place cuts corners to save money any way they can. The admin does not care for kids recently fired the two best teachers yet kept the ones who scream And yanked the Children im looking for a new place as we speak and you should too."
"My son currently attends Tomorrow's Child. We have attended 2 other childcare facilities, one of which was twice the cost and supposedly 'the best'. He LOVES it here more than any other place he's been. The teachers are quality! They are kind, informative, caring, patient, and manage to teach the little one's while letting them play and learn how to interact with others. This morning my son, who bawled when I dropped him off anywhere else, ran inside, gave me a kiss, and was fine with me leaving. It does a working mama's heart good to see her baby so well taken care of, loved, and most of all HAPPY! Thank you for being so amazing!"
"My child is now 7 years old and has attended Tomorrow's Child in Cartersville since he was 3 months old. Tomorrow's child is more than a daycare, it is a home away from home for my son. The teachers there have taught him and loved him as their own. Now that he's in grade school, he still attends after-school and during the summer and holidays at his second home. He's always looking forward to days he gets to spend ALL day at Tomorrow's Child. My son has always been at the top of his class, and has strong social skills and discipline in school. There's no denying that Tomorrow's Child laid the groundwork for his success as a student. The owner and manager have always treated our family as family while maintaining a professional, respectful atmosphere. Thank you ladies, for helping me raise my son to be someone we all can be proud of. - Kerri"
