"This is a Christian program that is focused on the children that attend there. Area kindergarten programs recognize the children that go to the Gingerbread house as the best children and best prepared for their early education experience. Great staff and leadership running the program."
"My son has been going here for going on 2 months and we absolutely love it! He looks forward to going to school everyday, he comes home singing songs about Jesus, and he learned to spell & write his name within the first 3 weeks of attending the pre-k Christian class. the staff are always so nice and welcoming to us."
"So I worked here for a week. I wouldn’t leave any stars but you have to in order to leave a review. Not only were the teachers unprofessional, and down right neglectful, but they also would stand around and gossip about moms and dads who dropped kids off. I was moved to 3 class rooms in a weeks time. In the toddler room I saw a teacher pick up a sandwich off the floor and give it back to a child! In The infant room I witnessed a babies hand get stepped on and the TA say “she’s always in the way”. When I reported this all to the administration I was told I must be exaggerating and maybe this wasn’t the place for me! Yea you’re right it’s not!"
"So apparently they have removed my wife's review of this establishment. Once again here it is. They present their daycare facility being Christian like and I just want to say their actions don't match up. My 3 yr old Grandson had been attending for over 6 months and he's always coming home w deep scratches on his face and bite marks either on his back, face. and arms, which i have photos. He would almost every week call out the child that's was hurting him. I was never told about this I had to find out for myself and then I would confront the teachers or owners and request they fill out accident reports but they informed me they don't do that. I had been for over a year trying to help his mom get approved for CAPS assistance bc as a single mom it's been hard for her to pay for childcare assistance. I communicated back and forth that I had a campaign raising funds to secure my Grandson Stability until I could get CAPS approved. I had let them know I was struggling not having the money to pay but I was doing my best to figure it out. Last Friday my daughter was finally approved for CAPS after me going above & beyond reaching out to our state politicians bc my daughter kept getting denied but they never gave a reason why. I thought Ashley & Evoynne would be so excited to hear he was finally approved bc they knew all the hard work i put in all on my own bc i am my own support system. I had called Gingerbreadhouse leaving messages for Ashley or Evoynne to call me back but I recieved no return calls. So then me & my husband called Friday to let them know CAPS was now activated and we both kept getting told they weren't available to talk to but would call us back. Yesterday my husband drove over there to speak w Ashley or Evoynne {the owner} and was turned away and said they would have her call him. Still today we waited and no phone call. My husband on his way to work this morning decides to call again and finally Evoyyne answered to let my husband know that my Grandsons spot has been filled. Maybe God closed this door for a reason bc he never came home with any kind of activies to show what he works on in class ever since he's been enrolled. I myself witnessed a lil girl smack another girl in the face when I took my Grandson into his classroom and I had to tell the teacher why the other girl was crying bc she had no idea why the girl was crying . I Personally don't think they have enough help in their classroom to monitor all the children & if they aren't bring home anything to show what they are learning in class then what are they doing while they are in class all day. while I now have my Grandson on 3 daycare waiting list. This is truely an inconvenience and so stressful bc stability is so important in my Grandsons life. Just very disappointed in the way they handled this situation to me it wasn't very Christian like at all."
"We love the teachers and staff at gingerbread. Sending your child to school is the scariest moment of your life, trusting someone with you kid for more waking hours than you have them most of the time. However gingerbread has always been quick to share all the information of our daughters day and heard all and any concerns we've had over the last 3 years."
