"I'm not normally one to leave reviews but I felt this needed to be shared. From start to finish I wanted to leave the entire time. The staff was late to open for an 8:30am appointment. When they arrived, they claimed that didn't realize they had an 8:30am appointment even though they called to confirm last Friday (4 days before) & again the day before. The whole building, including the office suite, smelt of cigarette smoke. It is dated and dusty, including the medical equipment. Overall, it just felt dirty. Dr. Cook had great, professional beside manner but I just couldn't get past a couple of things. When Dr. Cook was doing intake questions, he coughed into his hand & coughed up something into it. Without noticing, he grabbed my MRI report and got his mucus on my report. He cleaned his hands after this but at the end of my appointment they tried to give the soiled report back to me, which I couldn't accept. If that hadn't happened I would've probably given 4 stars just for Dr. Cook. Unfortunately, I couldn't get past all the hygiene and cleanliness issues so I will be finding a new neurologist."
"I really like Dr. Waldrop. I've been seeing him for several years. Unfortunately, they have gone through many changes with their office staff and the service is truly lacking. Many times, I've left messages and get no return"
"Dr. Cook himself deserves 7 stars if I could give them. He is one of the kindest and most patient neurologists I've ever visited. He's very knowledgeable and took everything I said into consideration. He even prescribed my meds according to not only my present lifestyle, but my future lifestyle, which a doctor has never done before. I just wish I could take him and visit him in another office. Everyone was super nice but the only thing is the office itself felt very horror movie like. Quite disorganized and messy, and there was food open and visible everywhere. I just felt like the office needs a good cleaning and update to make patients feel more comfortable. I also wasn't comfortable when I needed a MRI/MRA and the place they sent me to wanted 700 out of pocket. I feel like they should be a little more aware of the patient's insurance before sending them somewhere. Everyone is nice, I just feel that the office should reflect that."
"Great Staff. Personalized Service. Doctor takes his time, you don't feel rushed."
