"Lots of great helpful information on breastfeeding and pumps. The team was patient and informative. I have my breast pump ordered with my insurance with help from the office and no issues. They had working samples on hand for me look at and handle."
"My breastfeeding journey ended a few months ago, but I often reflect back on that time with such gratitude for those who helped make it possible. I remember talking to Elizabeth Myler from Breastfeed Atlanta when my baby was just a few weeks old. I was frustrated and defeated after weeks of triple feeding and battling low milk supply. I told her that working with her was a last stitch effort before I gave up breastfeeding entirely. Over the course of 5 sessions, many texts and emails, Elizabeth and I worked together to develop a plan that worked for our family. She met me where I was at and helped me reframe my all or nothing views on breastfeeding. She was always kind, never judgmental, and a wealth of knowledge on the subject. Because of Elizabeth, I was able to breastfeed with supplementation for 13 months. She gave me a gift that I will treasure forever - time with my son, nourishing and nurturing him into a beautiful little boy. I highly recommend both Breastfeed Atlanta and Elizabeth (Beth) Myler if you need assistance in this area!"
"This place is a total Godsend— I needed help with breastfeeding shortly after I gave birth and these lactation consultants were amazing!! They made me feel seen and heard as a new mama. Their experience in working with moms and babies is unmatched. The office is super cozy and welcoming, I love my visits! Thank you Breastfeed ATL for all you do!"
"I don’t think there are enough words of affirmation to describe this place. I was referred by a local mom when I realized that my daughters latch wasn’t as great since leaving the hospital a few days ago. I was able to make an appointment fairly quickly and be seen within the same week. Upon arrival, I was given a Good Faith estimate that told me my cost upfront so there were no surprises. The appointment was a breeze. Beth was able to show me the proper way to feed my daughter and make it so breastfeeding wasn’t as painful. She weighed my daughter prior to the appointment and after to see how much milk she was getting and in the 30 minute session she took in 2oz! Nice to see that rather than guessing! Also wanted to note that this place can help you with more than BFing tips. Beth informed me of the things my insurance covered, that I was unaware of (such as a rental pump and kit), and that they are able to do flange fitting to insure that you’re getting the max results from your pumping sessions! I am SO GLAD that I made an appointment and am looking forward to visiting the milk bar once again!"
"Beth Myler was amazing when I was first learning how to breastfeed and pump. She was incredibly patient and caring during every appointment. She went above and beyond to support my breastfeeding journey in so many ways. She not only taught me about breastfeeding and pumping, but she also checked in on me frequently. She made my mental health and anxiety a priority. It was something at the time, I didn’t realize I needed while dealing with serve anxiety. She provided a support group for those first few months during postpartum and I will be forever thankful. Beth also helped me to get my son evaluated and treated for a tongue tie. After getting my son treated he was able to be more successful when feeding. I am happy to report I made it 12 months exclusively pumping with my son. I think I was able to make it that long because of the support and encouragement I received from Beth. Thank you for helping me and my son survive and thrive during those first few months."
