"I rate give this place 2 star because I get the feeling that this place only cares about numbers like getting as many people as possible for the day. I was a good patient arrived 30 minutes before my 11am appointment with all my paperwork completed prior to my arrival at the facility. My appointment was for 11 am and I was only attended to around 12:30. The person who did my mammogram just took like 5 minutes and everything was so rushed because I’m sure their main objective is just numbers. Mind you I have had a mammogram done at Northside before and the reason why I came to this place today was because I thought I would get an in-depth analysis of my issues because these are supposed to be breast specialists. After this mammogram I waited for about 20 minutes and did the Ultra sound and again the lady who did it was nice but also everything was very rushed. Then I waited for the doctor and again the doctor was nice but very very rushed. I mean I’m over 40 years and been to different countries and have never seen a doctor who spends just shy of 3 minutes with me. That was very strange and she actually left me with more questions because coming here I had very high expectations since these people are supposed to be specialists. My overall experience is that these are all nice people but profit comes first for them hence they book too many people per day and just rush through the actual process. The actual process of me having the mammogram, ultra sound and seing the doctor was less that 15 minutes total but the wait time before anyone even sees me was one and half hours which to me doesn’t make any sense because I spend more time waiting to be seen. If my appointment is 11am it’s just not very professional for you to make me wait more than 1 and half hours in the waiting room only to be seen less than 5 minutes by the so called specialists. My appointment was at 11am and someone only saw me at 12:30pm to me it just doesn’t make any sense. I understand delays but I arrived at the facility at 10:30 and spent more time wearing that pink gown sitting in the cold wait room. Not ok at all."
"The staff was nice. The wait was a very brief one. The mammo and the ultrasound techs are super professional and help you to relax and Dr. Simpson was really professional and assuring in her diagnosis and very informative. I don't understand what the one star reviews are about, although I am a new patient, but so far I found BCS to be professional and they seem to be running a first-rate operation. Needless to say, it is common knowledge that women need to prepare to spend 2 to 4 hours at a mammo clinic and a good wait can sometimes be expected at just about any clinic. Some days are more hectic than others."
"I write this as a sit on hold for 21+ minutes so far just to reschedule an appointment that they cancelled because an MD changed her schedule. This is not at all unusual for this office. Their staff is beyond rude and unhelpful. I have been going to this office for 20 years. The only reason I gave them 2 stars is because I love the business model and the MDs/PAs. PLEASE hire a consultant to help you get your office staff and processes in shape!!!!! As a former consultant, I can tell you this will be worth its weight in gold!!"
"Their office sent a text to cancel appt after I verified the time. (Day before appt) Was told someone would contact me to get rescheduled. Since I never called a few weeks later I called and was scheduled for another 2 months out. Was there for almost 3 hours, had to leave due to other appt. Refuses to give my my results over the phone, requires you to come back in for appt for results. My insurance was billed and they didn't refuse to pay the bill. I was told to expect 4 hours for the appt. and I should of waited for my results in office. Seems my yearly mammo is averaging every 15 months with this company."
"It should not be difficult to schedule an annual mammogram. If I could give this business a "0" rating I would. The "1" will do since I did manage to get one mammogram in the past and the staff was decent. I attempted to schedule a mammogram via phone and was told to upload my referral, as I couldn't schedule until they had it. Fair enough, again, I had one with them in the past and had to do the same. Two weeks later, I never received a follow up call so I called back and was told that they'd never received it. They said that I had to speak with a certain woman to schedule and when I was finally able to reach her she said that she'd never received it. After I quoted a date and time for the email she found it. She then told me her first available appointment was 6 weeks after what would have been my 1-year anniversary. Fine, I took it. Less than 2 weeks prior to the appointment I scheduled 2 months prior I received an automated message (not a call) stating that my appointment was canceled and that something may be available 2 weeks later, which puts me at the 2-month mark of my anniversary. I call back and am told that the next available appointment is 4 months out. And, what makes it even worse is that all the schedulers I spoke with were obnoxious and rude. I hung up the phone and immediately started this review. There is no way that I would ever use or recommend Breast Care Specialists again. I only started with them because they have a location close to my home. Never again. I've opted to take a 25 minute commute to avoid this place."
