"Terrible experience! I had an important lab ordered by this office and called the nurse line 4-5 times over 8 weeks trying to get the results and no one ever called me back. They do not answer the phone and require you to leave a voicemail but never return the call. To this day they have never called me back after several voicemails asking for an update. The office also incorrectly submitted a claim to my insurance causing a visit to be out of network. I know they did this incorrectly because I have had visits before and after this one that are an in network copay. It is impossible to get anyone on the phone to fix this. I have called them numerous times and so has my insurance. Again, sent to voicemail that no one responds to. They continue to bill me almost $400 for this. I am very disappointed because I liked the doctors but everything else has been very frustrating."
"I have been coming to this practice for years and the level of care has been just decreasing. It sadly feels more like a business transaction anytime I come and today was the last straw. The wait times are long and today, After waiting for almost 2 hours for an confirmed appointment to check in my c section scar, the nurse of Dr Chapel just walked in and coldly said « you will Have to reschedule if you want to be seen. You are not my patient I am just letting you know and she left. I have never felt so disrespected and wronged by a doctor’s office. I will never book with Dr Chappell again and I am leaving this practice. If you must absolutely book there I would recommend Dr Wyndom. He seems to be caring."
"The good, when I finally saw the doctor (after hours) the doctor I saw was very attentive and nice; however, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. There was no clear instructions to the parking which was hard to find due to the construction. Also since it’s the hospital you have to pay to park which I personally hate since you have to constantly be going when you are pregnant. Just adds to the cost. Also, they are so busy they have multiple waiting rooms once you are in the back and I personally just felt like cattle being moved from one place to another. Lastly, they claimed to take my insurance and now I’m being told they are out of network so I’m having that battle. Bonus they also charge for sending medical records which just seems cheap. Glad a lot of people seem to like this place but it is not for me."
"I delivered my baby with this practice in July 2023, and attended all prenatal visits with them in both Woodstock and Marietta. I have very little negative comments, as all my visits have been great. Dr. Huffman was my primary doctor early on. She listened to me, addressed all of my questions, and made me feel so comfortable as someone who had never seen a gynecologist until pregnancy. Throughout my pregnancy, I rotated through doctors so I could meet others that could potentially be on call during my labor. Never had a bad experience with any of them! Dr. Windom was the one who was on call for my birth and he stitched up my 4th degree tear, which has healed beautifully. The midwives are fantastic as well. Jasmine ultimately delivered my baby, and we felt well cared for the entire time. She is especially wonderful at ensuring that you feel “heard” and talking you through your concerns. Also really enjoyed seeing Richelle. The office staff is also fantastic, including helping with late arrivals and paperwork requests! The only drawbacks I would mention are needing a better system for appointment reminders/online self-service (they have this now, would haves loved it throughout my pregnancy though) and scheduling appointments can be a bit tricky towards the later weeks. Other than that, I highly recommend!"
"Dr. Killian.. wonderful, 5 stars, my visit as a regular gyn patient was great. However, I’ve been nothing short of disgusted at the care (or lack of) as a OB patient. I do not feel safe or heard, during any of my visits, especially with one of the midwives named Leah. Constantly being over promised and gaslighted. At this moment it’s been 2 days since I’ve requested a RX or at least a follow up about my issue and nothing. That’s how urgent my problems are to them. It sucks that I feel like I have to get to know a whole new office and providers, because I don’t feel safe delivering my baby with this office. So as a black, pregnant woman.. I say no."
