"I deal with nervous system disregulation and hypermobility which causes headaches/migraines, join pain, thermal regulation issues, anxiety and more. I tried acupuncture on two separate occasions with different practitioners a year or more before finding Dr Craig and I didn’t think acupuncture worked for me. But after a recommendation from my neurologists at Mayo Clinic, I decided to try one more time and give it a real shot. I committed to 6 weeks of treatment and then would reevaluate at that point. I have been seeing him for over a year now and I have experienced profound change. We work together to interpret what my body is telling us and help steer it to a place of more balance and resilience. I went from every single day being a painful struggle to my body having resilience, my periods got way better (which wasn’t even a thing I was going in for!), I get fewer headaches and migraines, I am in pain significantly less overall, and I am so much more tuned into understanding what my body is telling me and supporting it instead of fighting with it or being annoyed with what its putting me through. FYI for newcomers, it took me some time to get used to the language/styles used in Chinese Medicine for how they model/treat the body and its systems. I think the “slow medicine” style of acupuncture (vs whats most culturally common here where you take a pill and 30mins later your migraine is gone, etc) can be difficult for people but I really benefitted from consistently going and keeping an open mind even though I didn't (and still don't) understand a lot. As a final note, I have to say that when people are struggling with medical issues like chronic pains, etc it can be really stressful financially to get the care you need with the frequency you need it but Dr Craig’s community acupuncture sessions make it affordable to get treated with regularity whereas lots of other treatments (like massage, etc) can be too expensive to do with the frequency that your body needs it. This is yet another reason that I was able to commit to regular treatments and get my body to a better place."

"Over the last two years I went through a very difficult time with stage 3 breast cancer. The side effects of the treatment were almost as bad as the chemo! "Dr. Luke guided me through the whole process and really asked detailed questions most places don’t. He spoke on my physical spiritual and emotional bodies.
