"Their policy is to treat everyone as if they’re addicted to medication because there’s clearly no need for anxiety medication. Explained to them I moved here and have been traveling back and forth and need somewhere to continue care and medication management and how my depression meds haven’t been working and they wouldn’t change them but required I have to be weaned off my anxiety medication and nothing would be prescribed in its place after their schedule. I don’t even take my anxiety meds daily but hey clearly anyone that is prescribed a narcotic is an addict. The fact my depression is so bad I do nothing but cry everyday and can’t get basic things done but only thing they were concerned with was making sure I was set on a schedule to stop anxiety meds. My son has an autism screening coming up and I’m sure that will be a waste of time as well. The office had my name mispelled on everything as well even the prescription they sent to the pharmacy"

"Albany Area Prim Healthcare has lost baby’s paperwork for the 3rd time, this is after her appointment was cancelled and no one put a reason and didn’t notify me and then there was a 6 month wait and then every time I come up here I (or Corey) have to explain the “situation” all over again because they’re NO NOTES in baby’s account. I just filled out appointment paperwork last week and there were 5 ladies up here and now there’s 2 different From the 5 and I’m repeating myself again. They have sent me to collections for $350 as if they completed the process from a year and half ago. I speak to the business & office manager (2 different people) several times and still haven’t gotten it resolved. Like Atlanta this place has no system in place. Like for real who runs this place."

"After seeing a wonderful Psychiatrist for the last 8 years I had to switch drs because he left the practice. I went to aaphc because it was based on a payscale and I don’t have insurance. I went in open minded telling her everything. I was in a terrible mental state because my previous meds stopped working. While seeing Dr Jeala barnett gentry she tells me she doesn’t prescribe more than one antidepressant. Her medication for my sleeplessness was the lowest dose of an itching pill. Did not work. The medication she prescribed for anxiety and depression did not work at all. I let her know how bad i was doing and her response was come back in 4 weeks. Four weeks with no change to the medication. No nothing! I let her know that my current antidepressant prescription that has worked for 8 years was out. She never lowered the dose which is dangerous to just stop taking abruptly. I went through terrible withdrawal symptoms for a week. I messaged her about it with no response. This dr doesn’t have the patients well being in mind. She is basically just getting a paycheck. Save your time and possibly your life by never seeing this person. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever dealt with. My last dr and this dr are night and day. She could care less about the mental state of her patients and their health safety! I guess you get what you pay for. Well paying more to get the help I need to make me feel better is way worth it going somewhere else! After talking to a friend I was told the same thing about their experience with dr barnett gentry! Trust me, don’t see her. You will regret it!"

"My kids pediatrician referred us here for an autism screening for my twins because it was the closest facility to us that offered this. Still about 45 minutes away from me. Waited 3 weeks for a call to schedule an appointment (honestly not as bad as I expected). But, I missed the call by like 10 seconds. Called back and was sent to a call center where the snotty worker told me, “if it was important they’ll call back”. I called back everyday for a week and couldn’t get ahold of anyone. Finally got a hold of someone and they told me that one of my daughters referrals was closed out because they couldn’t contact me (they literally called once and didn’t even bother trying my husbands number). Next day, they called me first thing in the morning, like barely 8 am, when I was asleep and I missed the call. They left a voicemail saying that they were calling to reschedule an appointment for my other twin. Called back as soon as I could and once again they closed out my referral after one single call. I called back and got the call center again and was told “it’s not my problem and I can’t help you” then they hung up in my face. Worst freaking customer service I’ve ever experienced. Awful run office. I had my referrals re-sent to a different office in Columbus because I’d rather drive much farther than have to deal with the god awfully rude workers at this office. If your docs refer you here, don’t even bother with it, ask to be sent somewhere else."
