"I don't visit doctors a lot. I am a self insurer/cash buyer. I don't like the run around that many Dr's offices nowadays give people. It seems like healthcare has turned in to forcing people to jump through insane hoops and unnecessary billing/testing etc. I have used this clinic 2 times in the past year and both times I already knew what I needed/had. One did require some lab work but the other they actually listened to what I had to say and did what I asked. Of course most doctors are going to be skeptical of a patient self diagnosing themselves but I had good information to support my claim as my daughter had the same sickness and I was exposed to it and in turn caught it. She already had in depth testing to specify what was wrong and we both had the exact same symptoms. It required a specific type of antibiotic due to it being a specific strain of bacteria. I admire this type of Dr. patient relationship and think that more Dr's offices should work with their patients this way. I am an economics major and this would drastically reduce our healthcare costs if we implemented practice like this nationwide. I understand sometimes hoop jumping is required for certain things, but often times it can be avoided with simple communication. I appreciate this location for listening to me. I'm on day 5 of my antibiotic and my symptoms are virtually gone. It was exactly what I said it was. Sometimes it just takes a patient being politely adamant with how they want their healthcare experience to go. Don't be afraid to tell your Dr. "if you aren't willing to give me the experience I am looking for I'll find someone who will". If enough people implement this thought process with their Dr.'s offices, then clinical practices wont have a choice but to hop on board and work more closely with patients. I hope that this office can continue to practice medicine in this fashion. More Dr.'s offices should follow suit. I'll keep returning here and here only until something changes. -CT"

"The Nurse Practitioner, Mrs. Jackson was absolutely amazing and I felt very comfortable with her. However , Erica , the front desk, does not need to even be in the field of health care because she is rude and has no compassion for people. If you can get past the front desk , this is a good place to go ."

"I made an appointment online for 10:00 at the clinic. I received a confirmation email stating upon arrival to park in a designated clinic parking spot and wait in my car. I arrived at 9:45 and parked in the designated parking space. There was a sign stating to call a provided phone number and wait in the car. In big red letters the sign also stated DO NOT COME INSIDE. I called six times and the phone rang off the hook. Twice the store answered and said they were trying to page the clinic to answer. After multiple calls and no answer, I went inside at 10:10 and walked up to find Michele Scarborough sitting at the front desk with no patients. I was not welcomed so I tried to check myself in on the computer. My confirmation code did not work. I tried to tell her it didn’t work and she acted twice like she could not hear me, after stating 3 times I could not log in, she finally answered by asking what time was my appointment. I told her it was at 10:00 and I had been in car waiting and calling since 9:45. She stated I would need to make a new appointment that I had missed my scheduled one. Again there were no patients in the waiting room. I asked her why did I need to make a new appointment, I was here for my appointment and had been waiting half an hour. She said again I had missed my appointment. I asked her what did she want me to do and she replied she refuses to see me and I could leave and call corporate and then she walked off. When she came back, I tried to show her the confirmation appointment email that states to wait in the car and call. She would not look at it. I asked to speak to a manager and so, she called security over the loudspeaker. The Kroger managers I spoke with were extremely kind and helpful. Please do not waste your time at the Clinic part of Kroger if you want to be treated professionally and with empathy when you are sick and only trying to follow their own directions."

"Stopped by The Little Clinic for a minor issue. The team was very helpful and really personal. I never come to quick stops but was happy my daughter sent me. They have a nurse practiontioner and another nurse that were really informed . I was able to get my medicine quickly as well after they sent it across to another pharmacy. The wait was not long. The team was professional. Thanks Michele Scarborough"

"I have had nothing but great visits at The Little Clinics. As most people, I work and cannot take off for long doctor office waits when I (or my son) are not feeling well. I love being able to schedule a last minute visit to the Little Clinic. I have visited in the past for minor issues with no problems and very short wait. And with Kroger pharmacy right there, I grab meds and can back to my day. There are some new faces, but Nurse Practioner, Michele Scarborough is great. She is a familiar face in Kathleen. Little Clinics are definitely a well kept secret, but as a busy mom...I encourage them!!"
