"This was my first experience with acupuncture, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The office was beautiful the front desk staff was very friendly. Dr. Mara was so kind and listen to all my ailments and concerns. My session was completely painless and actually quite relaxing. After just one session, I already started to feel better. I have already recommended their office to my friends and will continue to do so!"
"I want to preface this review and say that I have gone to have treatment done 28 times over 6 months. During that time, Dr. Harris and his staff were nothing but professional and polite through all of my visits. That rates 5 stars. However, I do want to give you my patient perspective on the changes that are happening in the office. I am a Marine veteran who was medically retired from service, and I use the VA to help with my medical treatment. When I first started treatment with Dr. Harris, it was a one on one experience. He would listen and talk with me about my problem areas. I would lay down, and he would start treatment. Placing the needles and starting the electric stimulation. During my 1 hour appointment, he would return and adjust the needles 3 times during the session. These treatments worked when no other forms of treatment (injections, PT,OT) did nothing to help. It worked so well that I am able to move and build a barn on my property. During my visits, the office started to implement changes that they do. Instead of the doctor who knows how to attach the cables to the needles, they now had additional staff that would come in and attach the wires and start the treatment. I don't know what the reasoning for this was. I did ask and was just told they are making changes. I felt more confident when the Dr did the process, and it only took less than a minute for him to attach the wires and start the treatment. Now, He will place the needles and then leave the room. Additional staff will come in who are learning how to do it, which at times made me nervous as sometimes they didn't make a good connection. That new process can take several minutes waiting on someone else to come in the room to start treatment. As a result, you now only receive 1 treatment with needles instead of the 3 prior in a single session. As the process slows down the time of treatment. As a patient, I only get alloted so much time to receive treatment for a given time and payment. You're getting less treatment for the same expense. Additionally, I use the VA to pay for my treatment. Talking with the office, they have gotten increasingly popular. As they should. It is a great place, great people, and the treatment is effective. I was told that part of the changes is that they will no longer be accepting VA patients. VA does not pay the full amount as insurance. Again, I asked why and was just told changes to their procedures. It leaves me wondering what they value the most. It seems like they will take others who will pay the full amount then help Veterans who are suffering from injuries. Unless they want to pay out of pocket at full price. They value money over patient care and taking care of veterans. I will say and I want to stress that what they do their does work. The treatments are effective. The staff are extremely friendly. It's always clean and have the rooms set to your preferences every time you go. Through my perspective, I viewed that the treatments were reduced. What you used to receive to now, they no longer want to help the veteran community. Instead, opting to get customers who will give them more money. It's definitely a money business decision. I was getting a better experience before the changes happened. More personalized care. Now it seems like they are adding unnecessary steps on the process, adding staff where it was not needed, offering you less value in your experience, and no longer want to help Veterans who use the VA for treatment. Over all. I'm disappointed in the changes their making. I believe new patients won't know what they lost."
"I’ve had a wonderful experience. From the front desk staff, to the Dr. himself. I’ve been feeling much better after my treatments. I’ve tried chiropractic, physical therapy and nothing has help ease my tight muscles like this."
"Very friendly staff, friendly doctors, extremely helpful, extremely knowledgeable. And very nice atmosphere!! I was driving home from the appointment and it dawned on me my shoulder and my neck doesn’t hurt, so I move my head and my shoulders a little bit and I feel it again and it doesn’t hurt and I’m like oh my gosh this is the new way of life!! If you have issues with any part of your body and have not used acupuncture before and you were tired of pills and medication, try it, you will not regret it!!"
