"If I could give negative stars on this review, that would be exactly what it would be given. First off the NP Angela M. Holsey needs to be removed from this career and have her license completely revoked. She is the worst NP I have ever met. I would warn anyone that went to this business to avoid her at all costs. She does not care about helping a patient or trying to do her job and finding out what the problem is. I went in with an emergency appointment because of the pain. Upon walking in she only wanted to read me what was on the chart and tell me that was my problem, then take the symptoms i was having and twist them to tell me that i need to just go to the E.R. When i asked for some blood work, tests, or something to confirm that or check for any other issues i may be having she refused to offer any help other than scheduling another endoscopy way down the road. I was in pain then and needed some type of relief. I asked about some meds i was given before for ulcers that eased the pain. She just proceeded to tell me I did not have ulcers and that Medication was not used for ulcers. I told her to send in the rx anyway. Then upon picking up the RX the description of this medicine read this. "Uses: This medication is used to treat and prevent ulcers in the intestine. Sucralfate forms a coating over ulcers. protecting the area from further injury. This helps ulcers heal more quickly". Let me add that my wife was with me for all this and i began to walk out after the first sign that she did not want to do her job and help me and my wife asked that i calm down and listen. So i did so to give another chance and then Angela just proceeded to speak about me interrupting her for the next 30 seconds while i was waiting on information about my condition and how to fix it. I then asked if she was just going to keep harping on the fact I interrupted her or tell me more about the issues and what to do to fix it. I sat there for more than 30 seconds with no interruption and she just wanted to argue a moot point. She then got an attitude and showed even more how she was not willing to help only call in more medicine i am already taking. I then told her i was not sitting in there in pain for her to not do her job and do something to help. I walked out and my wife stayed behind. She then proceeded to tell my wife that she had not been disrespected like that ever before and i must be racist. This alone told me this person did not need to be in the business of helping the public. Anyone who automatically goes to this assumption is the problem with that word racist. During the visit i never made a racial slur or as much as a comment on her skin color or ethnicity. My complaint the entire time was she did not want to do her job and help find out what my issue was and help with the pain i was in. Again this provider needs to have her license revoked and never reinstated. After leaving there we went to a urgent care to see what could be done. After being there an hour they had found that i had a UTI and H. Pylori (Bacteria infection of the stomach) which is what was causing the pain. Sounds like something a gastro specialist would check for. I did not even know this was a thing until at the urgent care and the previous doctor never offered to check for that or even mention it. Something that if gone untreated could be fatal. Thank the lord there are still some healthcare workers that thoroughly do there job and actually want to help there patients. Cause Angela M. Holsey did not care and had not showed to help at all. Please remove her from the medical field. Not just from my experience but for the safety and health of anyone else that would walk through those doors looking for help and she be there NP."
"Their 3 tier phone system is the worst. Needed to call their office in Locust Grove and was connected 2 call Centers...never reached their office and no call back ."
"Husband has been going through a lot of stomach pain and lots of different doctors trying to figure out what’s wrong, was finally told to see a gastro and this was were the ER referred us to. I called and they asked what insurance he had, we told them Cigna and they made an appointment, a week out. So the day of the appointment, he’s now in pain going on 16 days and the woman from billing calls and says they don’t accept his branch of Cigna. *didn’t even know there was different branches* You know who should have known and checked before day of? The billing department. Now my husband, who took a day off of work still isn’t seeing a gastro and we have to play another waiting game. The woman in billing was very rude and unsympathetic."
"Had to correct Google on the entrance of this facility but the numbers practitioner that I saw was very knowledgeable. Very understanding and helps tremendously with the issues I was going through"
"I had a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I never learned more than what the doctor told me immediately after the procedures. I was put on medicine which was supposed to be reduced temporarily (bc it qas making me sick). I never got a call about increasing the meds, scheduling the procedure the Dr spoke of or anything else. I left 3 vms over the span of a month or more before getting a return call wherein the staff was rude and sounded quite annoyed. Found out from my PCP the meds I'd been placed on are to fix an issue and then you come off the medicine. I was never advised of this or how I go about finding out if the issue is resolved. Finding a new Gastro."
