"I spent three years of my life in the ga center and it changed my life. honestly I was going down the wrong road before i got there, but thankfully the staf and the care providers set me straight. they were understanding and they believed in me. they enforced there motto and changed my way of living forever. It took a while for me to understand what they was trying to do but now i am more thankfull then ever so to the staf that might read this, i just wanna say thank you."
"A staff member here choked me and another one punched another girl in my cottage because we wouldn't take off our shoes because they thought we were going to run away. All the good staff have left because they don't want to be in an environment where they know kids are being harmed. Youth there are also strip searched every time they come back, even after going to the doctor. They should be shut down."
"I was in foster care for 18 years and I was sent here when I was 14 or 15 my CID number was 201 or 206 this was around 2004 it really meant something back then had good programs I worked and got paid for it once I left the program I had several thousand dollars after I stayed there a year and three months staff members cared they went the extra mile we have weekly field trips depending on our Behavior we had our own school programs teacher cared these people change my life for the better I'll do anything to try to work there I'm hearing all these negative stuff now and one thing that the staff members forget that these are kids that don't have nothing they've been abused not just physically but verbally these kids are not delinquents at the end of the day they're still kids and all I need is some love and attention to know that everything is fine but you're setting these kids up for failure and they won't make it to 20 until things change"
"How can I get permission to call or write my great grandson, Collin A. Eades? I tried and tried the phone number shown on your site this morning, but it was continually busy! If I am allowed to call him, is there another number besides the one on your website?? Vicky Graves"
